7 Mecha Things In Zoids New Century Zero

Zoids is the legendary anime that I watched long time ago. There are various series up until now, but the early one somehow cannot be easily forgotten. If you know Zoids New Century Zero, then you know how cool the Liger Zero is. Watching the world that is deeply connected with the mecha life makes me excited to depict its greatness. Here are the list of things related to mecha that I could find in the series: 
  • There are a lot of futuristic Zoids make an appearance in this anime. A Zoid is essentially a mechanical animal using what is called Zoid Core, which serves as its heart and mind. The core is considered to be alive, making the Zoid a living creature while in fact the body really resembles a mecha. I consider some zoids as the great ones during the series. Let's say The Liger Zero, Shadow Fox, Gun Snipper and Raynos. 
  • Among them, there are rare kind of Zoid that surpasses other Zoids in terms of performance and capabilities known as Ultimate X. These Zoids possess strong artificial intelligence, which allow them to learn and predict the moves of the opponents they face. They use a Black Box known as an Integrated Organoid System Inside their body. Of course everybody might be know that only the main character and the last opponent possess this kind of Zoids. 
  • The series is rather short with only 26 episodes showing mainly Zoids Battles over time. In addition, the funny thing spotted here is that people profession are related to the mecha, mostly the zoid's pilots, mechanic, or member of zoid teams. Actually all characters and zoids here live on Planet Zi. It is located 60.000 light years away from earth. No wonder the creator of the anime was tend to expand his imagination, making a well-developed and mecha-related world. 
  • To participate in Zoids Battle, a person need to have a Zoid and join a team. The battle is usually three versus three showdown which means at least a team must have 3 permanent members. There are more than 100 teams worldwide participating in battles but only few of them are showed in anime. The teams are also ranked base on their level of achievement, starting from C, B, A, & S. The Blitz team, our main characters, raised their rank from the low level to the only confirmed S rank at the end of the series. 
  • The battles between Zoids teams are regulated by Zoid Battle Commission. These battles which is typically fought on remote battlefields are judged by a robotic official launched from a satellite orbiting the planet. The commission seems not too powerful at first, but in the end they are able to eliminate the Backdraft Group once and for all. If you are fans of this anime, you might be often hearing this command. "Battle mode approved, area scanned, battle field set up. Ready... FIGHT!" 
  • A dark organization known as the Backdraft Group seeks to undermine the Zoids Battle Commission and replace it using any means possible. It also tried to capture the Liger Zero which has discovered to be the legendary Ultimate X Zoid. This organization is very powerful and has a very clear intention to me, controlling all mecha-related things. 
  • The Zoids world contains many different technologies and resources. The technology featured in form of weapons, equipments, and systems complete the series as mecha-genre anime all the time. You need to know how appealing to see Liger Zero using CAS system or when it performs the Strike Laser Claw toward its opponent.

Unit 9 In Active Raid

Unit 9 is one of the police force in Active Raid anime. The members of this team are: Kyoukai Sama  As a mechanic and operator of Unit 9, he handles decisions. In some cases, He also conducts on-site surveys. Like Kyoukai, they are dispatched from the association, but they do not seem to know each other's names. He is also in charge of narration for Unit 9 commercials. He also uses the pseudonym " Owashi Joe ". Asami Kazari A new member in Unit 8, she was assigned to monitor Unit 8 due to their bad reputation, and possibly to take steps in improving their activities. Like Sena, she is serious and prefers to stick to the law. She operates the Oscar VI Fine Familia. After the Logos incident she becomes the leader of the new Unit 9, and her reputation becomes even worse than Unit 8's. She usually utters English phrases in their conversations. Unit 8 is a police unit that is authorized to use Will Wears and the ACTIVE system. Due to their collateral damage of city infrastructure, Unit 8 has a bad reputation within the police force and public media. While the Japanese title of the anime only refers to them as "Public Mobile Assault Unit Eight", official materials translate their title as "Special Public Security Fifth Division Third Mobile Assault Eighth Unit." The members are: Takeru Kuroki A Lieutenant and one of Unit 8's Willwearers, he operates the Oscar 2 Strike Interceptor.
