10 Prominence Teams In Zoids Battle
Zoid Battles are commonplace in New Century Zero , there are at least four rankings: S, A, B and C throughout the series. While the total number of teams is unknown, it is mentioned that there are at least a hundred teams worldwide. Most participants are in the 15 to 22-year-old age. You can see the detail of 10 main teams and characters below:
1. Blitz Team
The Blitz Team starts lowly ranked but rise to Class A mid-way through the series and remain there until reaching Class S at the finale. They are the only confirmed Class S team.
Bit's strongest attribute in battle is his friendship with Liger Zero and their mutual determination to win. His next best talents are the exceptional eyesight and familiarity with Zoids. His eyesight is capable of processing immense details of objects at least two miles away while his time as a parts dealer taught him the abilities and limitations of Zoids, the usefulness of certain armors, and the range of various weapons. He favors a high-speed style that allows him to evade opponents until they become open for a close combat strike.
Brad is shown to favour mobility and also shows a remarkable resiliency, rarely lose during battle. He is heavily influenced by his role as a mercenary, and his best piloting displays come when offered money or other rewards. In battle, Brad has a tendency to sustain heavy damage and yet remain standing, lining up for surprise attacks while the foe is distracted by other team members.
In contrast to other pilots, Leena is shown to favor a "spray and pray" method, blanketing her opponents and occasionally team mates in an oppressive wild fire, usually going with missiles, artillery and any other ammunition at her disposal. She is also more prone to get irritated, firing on everything and everyone that registers on the radar.
Jamie spends most of his time at Hover Cargo's controls as the team's main strategist. In battle, his Pteras has been used to scout out his opponents to give his teammates forewarning more than engage them in combat. Time between battles was usually spent studying opponents and the Blitz Team to maximize their chances of winning. Itu is different when he turns his personality into Wild Eagle. This personality makes Jamie swell with confidence and unleashes his full combat skill set. However, The Wild Eagle is over-confident to the point of arrogance and recklessness.
2. Tigers Team
The Tigers Team later change their name to Zaber Fangs. Against their will, they also earn a sarcastic nickname of Fuzzy Pandas, due to their massive loosing streak. The Tigers Team have large winning and losing streaks, but end up the top ranked Class B team.
Kirkland, Omari and Lineback are somewhat good in their skills, but do not excel in any field. Their battle tactics usually involve putting up a screen of shelling to pin down their foe early on. Their battle plan is rigid, and can be defeated once properly analysed.
3. Champ Team
Numerous other Zoids are seen on the Champ team, such as Cannon Tortoises. Their transports are Whale Kings. The Champ Team drop to class C after losing to the Blitz team, but work their way back up to class A. They end up in class B at the end of the series.
While Harry is quick to boast, he is not a powerful warrior, instead spending most of the series struggling to maintain his Class B ranking. Due to the nature of Harry's on-screen battles, very little about his sense of strategy can be established with any certainty. It is shown numerous times that Harry has a lot of luck on his side.
They are not very good pilots as they often lose.
4. Flugel Team
The Flugel team's ranking is unclear for the majority of the series, but they rank firmly in Class A by the finale.
Naomi excels in long-range combat, and only few pilots have been able to counter her sniping. Her red Gun Sniper is modified with slightly better performance compared to the standard model.

He heavily favored close combat, but no longer needed a shield or even the Liger's blades to excel. Only basic attacks found in almost every Zoid were sufficient during a proper battle, allowing him to conserve energy for when he felt a sense of urgency. His ability had grown to include swaying and ducking against his fellow in-fighters, allowing him to dodge without even raising the Liger's paws.
5. Lightning Team
The Lightning Team ranks in the upper echelons of Class A.
Jack is one of the best Zoid Pilots in the series, and has a great deal of skill in high-speed battles. While effective, this initial lone warrior approach to team battles was Jack's biggest weakness. The key to his victory was Jack's slipstream strategy, which relied on teamwork and precise movements.
Chris and Kelly are shown to have the same skill as Jack in high-speed battles. They also appear to be good strategists as they and Jack came up with the slipstream strategy to use in battle.
6. Fuma Team
One of Backdraft Group Teams.
The Fuma Team cheated in battle, so it is not known how well they would do in a legal battle. However, it is implied that The Fuma Team is nothing extraordinary.
7. Gold Team
One of Backdraft Group Teams.
Polta often cheats in battle, so it is not possible to tell how good his skills would be in a legitimate fight. Indeed, Polta and his Gold Team were the cheaters of the Backdraft Organization, using by far the greatest number of illicit tactics. Beyond his cheating, Polta's only tactic has been overwhelming his opponents with numbers, trying to isolate his opponents while his team blasts them from all sides.
(Unknown members) - Helcat, Rev Raptor
8. Elephander Team
The team name is not mentioned, as both pilots are introduced by their names, not the teams. Solely used by Stigma Stoller. This team also belongs to Backdraft Group.
Stoller is shown to have extensive skill in close range combat and is able to best both the basic Zero and later the Zero Schneider in one-on-one combat. Despite this, he down-plays his own abilities, initially rejecting Sander's calls to have him personally pilot the Elephander, pointing out that he had retired and thus was not in his prime. Nonetheless, he is the only pilot never to be defeated by the Blitz team.
9. Vega Team
Quickly rises to Class A. Solely used by Vega Obscura, member of Backdraft Group.
Vega is given the title the King of unsanctioned battles. His abilities more than reflect this, as he is by far the most powerful individual Zoid pilot shown in the series. Vega is the only person who can bring out the potential of the Ultimate X Berserk Fury. His reflexes and tactics allow him to predict opponents moves several seconds before they act. This, combined with the learning capacity of the Ultimate X, makes him invincible in combat.
10. Red Fire Team
Briefly seen at the beginning of episode 5, they employed Jack Cisco for a short time.
(Unnamed member) - Red Horn
