7 Facts About Planet Zi In Zoids

Planet Zi is a fictional planet in the Zoids universe. All Zoids anime are taking place in this planet. To know better regarding the plot and story of Zoids, you had better learned the facts about planet Zi from the beginning. It is surely helpful when you watch all anime at once. These are some facts about the planet:
  • Zi is home to the evolved biomechanical lifeforms called Zoids. Original Zoids developed into dinosaur forms, but environmental changes drove the Dinosaurs to extinction on the planet's surface, allowing mammal Zoids to rise.
  • The Ancient Zoidians evolved as well. They would later discover that several types of Dinosaur Zoids survived underground. The Ancient Zoidians learned to domesticate Zoids, and eventually learned how to extract their cores and implant them into artificial bodies.
  • Zi and its solar system were formed roughly 5 billion years ago. 200 million years after formation, the heavy Planet Mi collided with Zi, becoming part of the planet and blowing 1/4 of its crust into space. Fragments from Mi and crust from Zi became three moons: De, Se, and Ae.
  • De, the yellow moon, is the smallest moon and getting closer to Zi every day. In ZAC 2056, a comet struck De, shattering it. The shards rained down onto the planet, causing massive destruction. 
  • Currently, Planet Zi only has 2 moons. Se, the middle blue moon and Ae, the largest and most distant red moon.
  • 700,000 years ago, a group of 8 tiny planetoids crashed into Zi's equator, causing the current geography. Zi currently has 6 major continents which consist of Northern, Southern, Eastern, Western, Central and Dark continent. 
  • Zi is located 60,000 light years away from Earth, directly opposite its position in the Milky Way. Some time later, a large spaceship from Earth, crashed on the planet Zi. The zoidian clans who had formed empires would lay claim to the survivors, incorporating their people and technologies.

Unit 9 is one of the police force in Active Raid anime. The members of this team are: Kyoukai Sama  As a mechanic and operator of Unit 9, he handles decisions. In some cases, He also conducts on-site surveys. Like Kyoukai, they are dispatched from the association, but they do not seem to know each other's names. He is also in charge of narration for Unit 9 commercials. He also uses the pseudonym " Owashi Joe ".
