There are so many Zoids appears in Anime. Each title introduces new Zoids that have better abilities or been upgraded into new version. Not to get confused with others, I made a list of Zoids which appears in New Century Zero only. Chek these out!

The Liger Zero is a Lion-type Zoid. Its signature attack is the Strike Laser Claw, which is utilized by charging its claws with laser energy to enhance the power of a claw swipe, allowing it to smash and tear through enemy armor with little effort. It is also often seen armed with a chest-mounted 208mm shock cannon and a 108mm beam gun attached to the tail.

It is designed specifically for close combat. The unit features seven Laser Blades mounted on the Liger Zero's head and sides which can be used to cut through enemy Zoid armor. It also features improved speed and acceleration through the use of shoulder boosters and thrusters. This CAS also allows the Liger Zero to use an Energy Shield. The five blades mounted to its head can flip forward to allow it to use an attack called the Buster Slash, which is a formidable thrusting attack. The extra two blades allow the Schneider to use its ultimate attack, the Seven-Blade Attack

It focuses on speed and maneuverability. The two large Ion Boosters mounted on its back serve to make it a very fast Zoid. It is, however, lightly armed and armored, as it only has a pair of vulcans mounted onto its face and the double-barreled Shock Cannon on its stomach as ranged weapons. It retains the Strike Laser Claw of the basic Zero, but it is known for its speed than its combat ability.

Panzer is the third CAS for the Liger Zero. It is specifically designed to be a heavy-artillery Zoid. It has a great number of missiles, as well as two powerful Hybrid Cannons and is wrapped in a thick armor that offers much more protection than the basic armor. However, this comes at a cost, and the Zoid is not as agile as it would if it mounted the other CAS units.

The Dibison is a heavily armored and armed Bison type Zoid. The Zoid was loaded with one of the heaviest weapons loads. Its primary weapons are an array of seventeen 105mm mortars mounted on its back. Long-ranged and capable of indirect fire, the weapons can be used to saturate an area or focus on a single target. Additionally, the Dibison's super-heavy Crusher horns are one of only a few weapons capable of penetrating zoids’ armor, while its Crusher Hooves can be used to trample enemy Zoids. While not very agile, its speed and mass allow it to effectively charge down enemy Zoids. Its armor is very thick and is fitted with a sensory system, allowing it to detect and engage enemy Zoids at long range.

The Gun Sniper is a Velociraptor-type Zoid which is considered to be one of the most intelligent Zoids in service, capable of learning from its pilot. Light and agile, the Zoid is designed to function both as an infantry machine and as a fire support Zoid. The Zoid's primary weapon is a 144mm Sniper Rifle built into the Zoid's tail. Although it requires the Gun Sniper to be immobilized in order to fire, the powerful weapon is capable of disabling larger Zoids with a single shot. Secondary weapons include both ranged weapons and claws and fangs, making the Gun Sniper very well armed for its tiny size. 

4. Command Wolf

The Command Wolf is a fast and agile Zoid. Its speed gives it a great deal of flexibility, allowing it to perform various roles. It has been used in strike and assault operations amongst others. Its back weapon turret has its own cockpit, resulting in the Wolf's capability of being filled by two pilots, one to maneuver the Zoid itself and the other to control the cannons. Actually, the Command Wolf is capable of being used by a single pilot since the turret can be controlled from inside the main cockpit. The turret can also be detached and expand the Zoid's capabilities. 

5. Shadow Fox

The Shadow Fox is a high-speed fox type Zoid and one of the most capable Zoids of its size. The Fox's greatest asset is its stealth systems. It is equipped with numerous sensor and absorbed radar that make it almost undetectable by most sensors. On top of that, the Zoid is equipped with a camouflage system that enables it to become invisible. It also has numerous smoke dischargers that release a black smoke to mask its black body, keeping its movements and whereabouts hidden and allowing the zoid to sneak up on targets and strike them before they have a chance to defend themselves. Its primary ranged weapon is a 30mm Laser Vulcan gun installed on a turret on its back. This weapon has a very broad arc of fire, allowing the Fox to attack enemies at almost any angle. The Zoid's other main weapon is a rather unusual one, a net launcher mounted in the tail, designed to entangle enemies. In addition to various Custom Parts, the Fox can also mount weapons from other Zoids, making the Shadow Fox one of the most versatile Zoids in combat.

The Pteras is a Pterosaur-type Zoid. It used the new Magnesser Wing technology to provide lift and propulsion. These wings use magnetic repulsion to lift the Zoid and move it airborne. This system makes the Pteras very easy to learn and operate. Its weapon load consists of missiles for both air and ground attack. If its missiles are depleted, the Zoid is left with single small cannon for defense, making it vulnerable in longer engagements. Its speed and agility is somewhat lacking, when compared to most other airborne Zoids. However, the Pteras does have some ground capability.

The Raynos is a Pteranodon-type Zoid. Instead of using Magnesser Wings to produce lift and control, the Raynos relied on aerodynamics. The result was a Zoid that was both incredibly fast and agile in the air. Its top speed outclasses other flying zoids and makes Raynos a very difficult Zoid to fly. Compared to other flying Zoids, the Raynos is very well armed, supporting numerous cannons and talons. It also has tail-mounted weapons, a very unusual feature for an airborne Zoid.

9. Shield Liger

The RZ-007 Shield Liger is a Lion-type Zoid. The Shield Liger's most distinctive feature is the Energy Shield built into its mane that gives it its name. The Shield Liger was the first Zoid to use an Energy Shield, at the time giving it an unparalleled advantage. The Shield covers the Liger's forward half, protecting it from enemy weapons fire. In addition to a defensive measure, the Shield can also be utilised for high-speed ramming attacks. 

10. Blade Liger

While the Shield Liger’s capabilities were solid for its day, the Blade Liger improves upon them, being faster and more agile than its predecessor. It also gains new weaponry, the most noticeable being a pair of Laser Blades, hence its name, capable of cutting through all but the densest of enemy armor. Its E-Shield is enhanced with the addition of four cooling units located in the white 'fins' of its shoulder armor. Like the Shield Liger, it sports a Shock Cannon on its chest and the Pulse Laser Guns found on the back edges of the Laser Blades add to the Zoid's ranged combat abilities. Overall, the armament of the Blade Liger is superior to that of the Shield Liger in every way, save the lack of indirect fire capability offered by the Shield Liger's missile launchers. 

11. Zaber Fang

The Zaber Fang is a Tiger-type Zoid. The Zaber Fang was the first high-speed, large-scale Zoid ever constructed, as well as being the first of many feline-type Zoids. Its speed made it amongst the fastest Zoids at the time of its debut. While its weapons lacked sheer power compared to those of other large Zoids, they were more than enough to deal with the numerous smaller Zoid types of its day. While very fast and agile in its prime, the Zaber Fang has since been surpassed by newer designs. Nevertheless, it is still considered to be a very capable and dangerous opponent.

The Dark Horn is a Styracosaurus-type Zoid. It is one of the “Dark” Zoids that uses a special power source, Deochalcum. The Dark Horn's Zoid Core is bonded to this material. Deochalcum allows it to absorb light and heat into their bodies and convert it into power for their weapons systems. As a result, while the Dark Horn is only a mid-sized Zoid, it is devastatingly powerful. All Dark Zoids give off a distinctive green glow from their power plant and other components. It mounts a large Hybrid Vulcan cannon on its back. The weapon connects directly into its special power system, giving it a considerable degree of firepower. 


13. Iron Kong

The Iron Kong is a Gorilla-type Zoid. It featured super-thick armor invulnerable to most of the Gojulas’ weaponry. Additionally, the Iron Kong’s load of long-range missiles allowed it to attack from outside the range of most of its opponent’s weapons. While relatively slow, the Iron Kong is incredibly agile due to its construction. Additionally, the gorilla-like form and fully functional hands gives it the ability to climb and grasp objects, as well as pick up and throw things. Additionally, the Iron Kong can deliver devastating punches

The Stealth Viper is a Snake-type Zoid. It is able to transverse a multitude of environments, and is amphibious. The Zoid is used primarily for reconnaissance work, spying, and sneak attacks, although it can be outfitted to operate as a support artillery Zoid. It is very well armed for its size, sporting a multitude of cannon and missile weapons. However, its frame is very fragile and it is not very well armored. The Zoid is best suited to hit-and-run and guerrilla warfare rather than stand-up fights. The favored Stealth Viper tactic is to bury into sand, then strike at an unsuspecting foe and retreat before they can retaliate 

16. Heldigunner

The Heldigunner is an Iguana-type Zoid. It was originally one of the “Dark” Zoids, built by bonding the rare material called Deochalcum to the Zoid's core. This allows them to absorb light and heat into their bodies, and convert it into power for their weapons systems. As a result, while the Heldigunner is only a mid-sized Zoid, it is capable of taking on Zoids far larger than itself. It is capable of operating on land and in the water with equal effectiveness, making it an ideal amphibious assault unit. It is also capable of burrowing into the ground and tunneling through anything short of dense bedrock. The Heldigunner's main cannon is a powerful long-ranged beam weapon, composed of three separate cannons that fire simultaneously. This weapon is in turn powered by energy fed from its specialized power system. 

17. Lightning Saix

The Lightning Saix is a cheetah-type Zoid. Evolved from a Helcat using an Organoid system, the Lightning Saix is notable as being an exceptionally maneuverable land-based Zoid. It has incredibly high-performance, with fast acceleration and a massive top speed. While it cannot make sharp turns while running at its top speed, it can strafe and maneuver quite well. The Lightning Saix is well armed, carrying a pair of powerful Pulse Laser Rifles on its back, as well as a pair of small Vulcan Guns in its head.  Additionally, it has a pair of Vertical and Wing Stabilizers. They serve as to stabilize the Zoid while running at high speeds, and allows the whole kicking power of the Lightning Saix to be transfered to the ground, making sure every ounce of force hits the ground to maximize the Zoid's running efficiency. 

18. Sinker

The Sinker also known as Sea Striker is Ray-type Zoid. It is a fast, small Zoid, capable of naval and aerial operations. The Zoid is not heavily armed and is usually used en masse when in combat. Like its name suggests, it is often involved in stealth operations, ambushing ships and sinking them. Since Sinkers can fly above the ground, they are not limited to just fighting on land, they can just as easily move over and under the sea. These ray-type Zoids are propelled forward by rocket boosters, and are often used as recreational vessels. 

19. Berserk Fury

The Berserk Fury is a Tyrannosaurus-type Zoid. It is very agile and responsive, and more intelligent than a normal Zoid. The Fury's speed and agility are further enhanced by the numerous thrusters mounted on its body, which allow the Zoid to hover a short distance above the ground. The Berserk Fury is armed with a Charged Particle Cannon as its main weapon. As a backup, it is also equipped with a pair of multi-function blades known as the Buster Claws. Each Buster Claw can act as a powerful beam cannon, a high-speed Magnesser drill, or an E-Shield generator. They can also be used to enhance the power of the main Charged Particle Cannon.

20. Warshark

The Warshark is a Coelacanth-type Zoid, designed principally for underwater combat. Fast and agile while underwater, the Zoid can dive deeply and operate quietly without being detected before attacking. In addition, the Zoid can burrow into soft soil and sand and tunnel through it, traveling underground as if it were in water. The Zoid is well-armed for its role, carrying both beam cannons and torpedoes for use against land and sea targets, as well as a unique sonic cannon mounted in the Zoid's mouth. The Zoid is also well armored, its tough body protecting it both from both weapons fire and the pressures of the ocean depths. 

21. Hammerhead

The Hammerhead is an aquatic Zoid, but is also capable of flight. It can be equipped with CP-14 Viking lance to improve its melee capabilities. However this upgrade removes most of it's ranged weaponry.

The Geno Saurer is a Tyrannosaurus-type Zoid. It was the first Zoids to be equipped with the newly-developed Organoid System. This system, derived from technology found in an ancient ruin, enhances the Zoid's intelligence and abilities. The Geno Saurer is a very capable Zoid, being fast and agile, while also very well armed and armored. The Zoid's main weapon is a Charged Particle Cannon. The Zoid's only weakness is that it needs to be anchored and completely stationary in order to fire the CPC. Another problem is caused due to the massive heat generated by such a weapon, causing the weapon to only be able to fire once every couple of minutes. The thick tail of the Geno Saurer is covered with vents and filled with heat-sinks to partially compensate for this problem.

The Zabat is a Bat-type Zoid. It is a small and nimble aerial Zoid. While not outstandingly fast by the standards of flying Zoid, it is very agile, making it a rather hard target. Its main guns are powerful for a Zoid of its size, giving it a fair punch. Its main weapon, however, is a self-guided homing torpedo that it can use to attack ground and sea-borne targets. While it is well armed, the Zabat is quite frail and easily destroyed. Its wings are quite vulnerable, and can be easily damaged, crippling the Zoid.

The Storm Sworder is a Pteranodon-type Zoid. One of the first Zoids to be built around the newly-developed Organoid system, the Storm Sworder was developed to counter new Zoids like the genosaurer. As a result, the Storm Sworder is both incredibly fast and agile, in the air. Despite its role as an air superiority Zoid, the Storm Sworder's weaponry is primarily melee-focused. Its primary weapons are a trio of energized blades that are capable of cutting through most types of Zoid armour. While these are impressive, its stock ranged weapons are mediocre. The Elephander is an Elephant-type Zoid. While relatively slow, the Elephander is surprisingly agile for its size and bulk. Its greatest asset, however, is its adaptability. The Zoid's trunk weapon, back weapon, ears and head can be replaced with different modules to allow the Elephander to complete different tasks. With the right equipment, an Elephander can easily be swapped between different roles. Three standard Elephander configurations exist: 
  • The Assault version is the most common configuration. This version mounts a claw module on the end of the trunk which is capable of grabbing and crushing other Zoids, and sports a small pair of beam cannons. A powerful pair of larger beam cannons is mounted on the Zoid's back, giving it a considerably offensive punch. To supplement its thick armour, this version mounts a pair of energy shields in its ears. 
  • The Command version uses a different head module that, while less heavily armored, carries more advanced communications equipment. The Assault version's rear turret is retained, while the Energy Shield ears are replaced with a pair of rocket launchers. The trunk claw is replaced with the ESCS unit (Energy Sword and Cannon Shield), a unique weapon that is able to function as a heavy beam cannon, a beam sword, or an energy shield. 
  • The Scout version is the rarest of the three and the only one not designed for combat. This version retains the head module from the Assault version, but replaces the ears with a sophisticated sensor array. The rear turret is replaced with a 3D radar mast, while the trunk weapon is replaced with a magnetic anomaly detector designed to locate land mines and other buried objects.

The Rev Raptor is a Velociraptor-type Zoid, One of the first Zoids created using the Organoid System. It is far more agile, responsive, and intelligent than older Zoid designs. The Zoid's small size and agility made it ideal for use as a reconnaissance unit. While the Rev Raptor possesses a considerable array of melee weapons for a Zoid of its size, the machine completely lacks any ranged weapons.

The Maccurtis is a Crawfish-type Zoid. It is a small aquatic Zoid designed for undersea combat. It can be operable on land, though it does not excell at land-based combat. Despite their size, the claws are not cumbersome, nor do they affect the Zoids mobility. It also has two forward-facing advanced sensory antennae for communication and undersea radar.

The Whale King is a Whale-type Zoid. When the battlefield becomes an immense area in a war between continents, it is essential for a transporter to carry a large quantity of Zoids at once. The Empire's technological teams based the Whale King on an enormous oceanic wild zoid. The giant Zoid can carry an entire battalion of troops and can move through either air or sea with ease. Though its enormous size and slow mobility make it unsuitable for direct combat, it is still heavily armored and can protect the Zoids it carries.
