In addition to the ten main characters, SpongeBob SquarePants features a variety of recurring secondary characters. Here is the list of them: Mermaid Man  Ernie, better known by his superhero name Mermaid Man, is a semi-retired superhero who lives in Bikini Bottom. He and his sidekick Barnacle Boy are the stars of a show-within-a-show called The Adventures of Mermaid Man and Barnacle Boy, but they are also real superheroes within the SpongeBob SquarePants universe. Woodwinds Claire St. Claire's clarinet  Claire St. Claire's clarinet is a clarinet owned by Claire St. Claire. It is a white clarinet with gold keys on it. Electric clarinet  The electric clarinet consists of Squidward's original clarinet with a faded green speaker attached to the end. Squidward puts a very loud speaker into the clarinet to make it louder than a regular clarinet. Golden Clarinet  The golden clarinet is a clarinet owned by Poseidon. It is gold with the requisite buttons to alter the tune of it. It looks much like an average clarinet. Certified Public Accountant  It is a board game with different areas like a symbol of a dollar, papers, and other things, and is too complicated for SpongeBob and Patrick to understand. The game includes its own rule book. Three Deadly Challenges  The game has three players. On the board there is a bull, a knight on a horse, a tower, and a 12 sided die. The objective of the game is to beat the player who challenged the other players in 3 challenges. These challenges include a sword duel, a bull fight, and a jousting match. Pretzel Pals  The outside of the box is white and shows an image of two salted pretzels, with the game's name written in blue, red, and yellow lettering. Bold and Brash  Bold and Brash is a painting made by Squidward, hoping to impress an art critic. The painting has a yellow background. A naked caricature of Squidward is the center of the piece, but with only four limbs instead of six. Also, this caricature has no mouth. The color of the caricature is green. It has a lot of gray spikes scattered all over the statue's body, with a huge, gaping mouth on the stomach with sharp teeth all around inside, thin arms, and eye stalks with fork-like shapes at the top. The International Justice League of Super Acquaintances, or I.J.L.S.A for short, is a group of superhero sidekicks who originally fought alongside Mermaid Man. The league consists of The Quickster, Captain Magma, the Elastic Waistband, and Miss Appear. Mermaid Man The International Justice League of Super Acquaintances is run and founded by Mermaid Man. He is the main leader but not the chief, similar to Superman's leadership and Batman's secondary leadership with the Justice League and Super Friends. Unlike Superman and Batman, he orders pizza to his hero allies at the table instead of announcing brief missions. Waterballs : Lock the target and throw the waterballs The Quickster The Quickster has the uncanny ability to run at record speeds. This super speed was ultimately SpongeBob's downfall when he had to become the Quickster, as he was running around in a circle after getting hit with Captain Magma's eruption by accident, until he eventually melted and disintegrated...
