10 Badass Technology Featured On Zoids

In Zoids New Century Zero, there are numerous signature weapons and technology used by certain Zoids. This what makes several Zoids look stronger than others. Not to mention the upgrade version of old Zoids as well. I made top 10 list of most commonly used technology below:

1. Charged Particle Cannon 

The Charged Particle Cannon is a particularly powerful weapon carrying enough energy to melt anything it comes in contact with. These cannons are depicted as being among the most powerful weapons ever wielded, far outclassing even high-grade conventional weapons. It is capable of annihilating even the strongest of Zoids in a single shot.

2. Changing Armor System 

The Changing Armor System is a system where the armor of a Zoid is removed and replaced with a different module. This gives the Zoid a heightened ability to adapt to multiple different situations. The Liger Zero and Berserk Fury are the two Zoids that most heavily utilise the Changing Armor System. As most often used by Liger Zero, this system would come in the form of three CAS units, the Jager, Schneider, and Panzer.

3. Energy Shield 

The Energy Shield is a defensive type of force field commonly employed in the Zoids universe. These shields are most commonly used for defensive purposes, but can also be employed offensively as a makeshift battering ram. Energy Shields tend to deplete a lot of energy from a Zoid, and are generally usable for somewhat short periods of time. The durability of the E-shield is also highly dependent on the type of attack it is targeted with, with some weapons, such as the formidable Charged Particle Cannon, being able to effortlessly slice through most Energy Shields.

4. Laser Blades 

The Laser Blades are the hardened sharp steel enhanced by the use of laser technology. The weapons are usually attached to the sides of Zoids, and are capable of cutting through tough Zoid armor. Although the Blades are already sharp uncharged, and can be used without the laser systems, their effectiveness is increased even further when charged.

5. Magnesser System 

The Magnesser system is a system that utilises the magnetic environment of Planet Zi for several different uses. This device interacts with the "magnetic wind" of the planet, allowing for a unique propulsion system. Used primarily for flight, the system is equipped to almost all winged flying Zoids, and is how they generate their lift. 

6. Strike Laser Claw 

The Strike Laser Claw is a melee weapon that requires a Zoid to charge its claws with laser energy to enhance the attack's power. The swipe itself is powerful, and capable of tearing through enemy armor to deal damage.

7. Deochalcum

Deochalcum is an iridescent, green substance local to the Dark Continent of Nyx. Though it has a negative effect on both the terrain and plant life, it can be used in the creation of Dark Zoids by being bonded to the Cores. The properties of Deochalcum allow Dark Zoids to absorb both light and heat energy into their bodies and convert it into power for their various weapons. As a result, all of these models give off a distinctive green glow.

8. Zoid Core 

The Zoid Core is the fundamental power source for all Zoids. This techno-organic core is essential and serves as Zoid's heart. If a Zoid has its Core damaged, it will die and cannot be repaired. The Zoid's corpse then will turn to stone after a while.

9. Ultimate X 

An Ultimate X is a rare kind of Zoid that surpasses other Zoids in terms of performance and capabilities. Ultimate X Zoids possess strong artificial intelligence, which allow them to learn and predict the moves of the opponents they face. The term "Ultimate X" is given to Zoids that possess an Integrated Organoid System, or black box that looks like a head of an Organoid on the Zoid core.

10. Zoid Magnite 

Zoid Magnite is a type of metal found on Zi that has peculiar properties. While not well-defined, it is the material used as armor on Hover Cargo, enabling it to withstand depths of 1000m and therefore, allowing for its operation at the bottom of the sea.
