Members Of Kyoto Jujutsu High In Jujutsu Kaisen

Kyoto Prefectural Jujutsu High School, commonly referred to as Kyoto Jujutsu High, is the sister school of Tokyo Jujutsu High. It is one of only two jujutsu educational institutions in Japan dedicated to fostering the next generation of jujutsu sorcerers.

Faculty

Yoshinobu Gakuganji

Yoshinobu Gakuganji is the principal at Kyoto Jujutsu High and a member of the jujutsu higher-ups. He feels making exceptions from long standing practices is wrong. Especially when dealing with something as dangerous as the resurrection of Sukuna. Furthermore, he was quick to intervene when the Goodwill Event was attacked and cooperate with Gojo. Stating that the safety of his students was the priority rather than defeating their enemy. He is also able to quickly analyze and grade his opponent's skill level with a glance.

Cursed Technique

• Gakuganji's cursed technique: Yoshinobu Gakuganji's technique uses his body as a sound amplification device amplifying the melodies he plays on his electric guitar and launching it in waves of cursed energy.

Semi-Cursed Tools

• Electric Guitar: Yoshinobu uses an electric guitar in tandem with his cursed technique.

Utahime Iori

Utahime Iori is a semi-grade 1 jujutsu sorcerer and student supervisor at Kyoto Jujutsu High. She is a calm, kind yet stern individual who tries to set an example for her students. However, Satoru Gojo knows exactly how to push her buttons and angers her in almost every exchange they've had. When Satoru told her she couldn't be a traitor because she was too weak, Utahime threw her cup of tea at him. She often tells him to respect his elders because she's older than him but he never listens. It is currently unknown what her cursed technique is, but it is stated to involve singing.

Students

1st Year Students

Arata Nitta
Arata Nitta is a first-year student at Kyoto Jujutsu High and the younger brother of Akari Nitta. He is a kind and timid young man who very much contrasts to Aoi Todo's macho persona. He's understandably nervous in dangerous situations, but brave and proactive nonetheless. He doesn't appear to have much experience but his technique makes him useful on missions despite his lack of combat ability. Arata has knowledge of basic first aid and any type of healing techniques are extremely rare among jujutsu sorcerers, making him a highly valuable asset.

Cursed Technique

• Pain Killer: This technique allows Arata to stop existing injuries from getting any worse. Arata can't heal wounds but he can stop bleeding and reduce the pain for anyone he applies it to.

2nd Year Students

Mai Zenin

Mai Zenin was a second-year at student at Kyoto Jujutsu High, member of the Zenin clan, and the younger twin sister of Maki Zenin. Like her twin sister, Mai was mistreated by the Zenin clan growing up only for being a girl with little talent for jujutsu. Mai was content with living under their thumb as a servant and would rather do chores than fight. In contrast, Maki wanted to spite the clan and work as a sorcerer. The repercussions of Maki's rebellion forced Mai to study to become a jujutsu sorcerer. Mai hated this and loathed Maki for basically pushing them both into that life.

Cursed Technique

• Construction (Kochiku Jutsushiki): An inefficient technique that consumes most of Mai's cursed energy to create something from nothing. Her limit is a single bullet per day and the backlash for activating this technique is severe.

Cursed Tools

• Mai's revolver: Mai primarily uses a revolver which she can imbue with her own cursed energy.
• Mai's sniper rifle: Mai utilized a marksman's sniper rifle to shoot her target from a great distance with real bullets.

Kokichi Muta

Kokichi Muta was a second-year at Kyoto Jujutsu High using Ultimate Mechamaru as his proxy to attend school. Kokichi himself could not due to the sickly and fragile body he was born with as a result of his Heavenly Restriction. He was a reclusive and reserved individual who resented being born without a future outside of the jujutsu world. He proudly admitted he would give back every ounce of cursed energy to gain a normal body. Kokichi was also a semi-grade 1 jujutsu sorcerer while he was still a student at Jujutsu High.

Cursed Energy Manipulation

• Heavenly Restriction: As a result of his Heavenly Restriction, Kokichi's cursed energy was vast enough to cover the entire nation of Japan. He can exceed the limits of his cursed energy output and use his Puppet Manipulation across an immensely wide range.

Cursed Techniques

• Puppet Manipulation (Kairai Sojutsu): Kokichi's technique allowed him to remotely control cursed corpse puppets over a wide range.
• Ultimate Mechamaru: A mechanical cursed corpse that Kokichi originally used as his proxy to attend school and missions.
• Sword Option: Multiple blades protrude from Mechamaru's forearm, along with his nails extending. Mechamaru is also capable of increasing the size of his forearm and having spikes protrude of it.
• Ultra Spin: Mechamaru spins his hand and forearm, and swings his right arm at the target. This technique is capable of easily piercing through a tree trunk.
• Ultra Shield: Mechamaru puts up his guard, with his forearm in front of him, to block incoming attacks.
• Boost On: Mechamaru releases cursed energy from his elbow to increase the speed of his attack.
• Ultra Cannon: Mechamaru fires a blast of cursed energy from the palm of his hand.
• Mode: Albatross: Mechamaru protrudes a cannon from his mouth.
• Ultimate Cannon: Mechamaru fires a blast of cursed energy from his mouth.
• Ultimate Mechamaru - Mode: Absolute: A large mechanical puppet that Kokichi is capable of piloting from the cockpit in the puppet's head. It is capable of large scale attacks by using up cursed energy that was saved beforehand.
• Ultra Cannon: Kokichi fires a blast of cursed energy from the palm of the puppet's hand. This technique consumes one year's worth of cursed energy that Kokichi has saved up.
• Miracle Cannon: Kokichi fires a blast of cursed energy from both of his puppet's hands. This technique consumes two years' worth of cursed energy that Kokichi has saved up.
• Pigeon Viola: Kokichi creates 5 orbs made of cursed energy and blasts from them when released. The blasts follow the target until they come in contact with something. This technique consumes five years' worth of cursed energy that Kokichi has saved up.
• Technique Charge - Simple Domain (Kan'i Ryoiki): Kokichi invented four tubes that contain the Simple Domain cursed technique. It was the only way he could make the Domain work. The tubes are entered into a panel and activated with a Technique Charge. From there, Mechamaru can shift his fingers into spikes or shooting barrels that can inject Simple Domain's effect into Kokichi's desired target. It can also be used to protect the cockpit from an enemy Domain Expansion.
• Binding Vows: Kokichi had a Binding Vow with Mahito, promising to give them information as a mole in exchange for a healthy body. One of the conditions Kokichi had was for Mahito's group to not hurt anyone from Kyoto Jujutsu High.

Kasumi Miwa

Kasumi Miwa is a second-year at Kyoto Jujutsu High. She is a kind hearted, hard-working girl who is not as jaded as some of her classmates. She is much more restrained, down to earth, and behaves otherwise normally. Kasumi wants to be a sorcerer to make money and is a fan of famous sorcerers like Satoru Gojo. The reason she tries so hard to succeed at Sorcery is because she wants to support her two younger brothers, showing her caring and steadfast attitude. She also constantly calls herself useless and genuinely fears that her weakness causes trouble for others trying to protect her.

Cursed Techniques

• New Shadow Style: Simple Domain (Shin Kageryu: Kan'i Ryoiki): It begins after Kasumi assumes the proper stance, creating a circle with a 2.21 meter radius around Kasumi. Anything that enters this space can instantly be intercepted by Kasumi's blade.
• Batto Sword Drawing (Batto): It is a technique that uses cursed energy to surround Kasumi's blade when sheathed and rotates it to create incredible speed when she draws the blade. It is the fastest drawing technique of the New Shadow Style.

3rd Year Students

Noritoshi Kamo

Noritoshi Kamo is a third-year at Kyoto Metropolitan Curse Technical College and heir to the head of the Kamo clan. He is normally very calm and stoic in most situations, whether it be in front of his allies or rivals. Excluding Aoi, he is a senior and a leader for his peers at the Kyoto school other than Aoi. He also feels a kinship to those who come from sorcerer families such as Megumi. His loyalty to the sorcerer families has distorted his feelings when it comes to others. He became a jujutsu sorcerer because his mother believed in his potential to help people.

Cursed Techniques

• Blood Manipulation (Sekketsu Sojutsu): Blood Manipulation grants Noritoshi the ability to control all aspects of his blood.
• Flowing Red Scale (Sekirin Yakudo): Increases the user's body temperature, pulse rate, and the number of red blood cells to give themselves greatly increased energy and physical capabilities.
• Crimson Binding (Sekibaku): Transforms blood into widespread net that tightly ensnares the target.
• Slicing Exorcism (Karibarai): Rotates wheel of blood at high speeds to create a bladed projectile.
• Convergence (Byakuren): Compresses and condenses blood to its limit.
• Piercing Blood (Senketsu): Fires a long ranged beam of blood with extreme flesh piercing capabilities.

Weapon

• Bow and Arrows: Noritoshi takes a bow and several arrows into battle with him. The arrow tips are dipped in Noritoshi's blood, allowing him to control the trajectory of the arrows with his Inherited Technique after firing them from the bow.

Aoi Todo

Aoi Todo is a third-year student at Kyoto Jujutsu High School and a grade 1 jujutsu sorcerer. He was mentored by Yuki Tsukumo in his youth and considers Yuji Itadori his best friend. He is a very unique person with an extremely eccentric attitude. Much of his personality also revolves around his very vocal love for his favorite tall pop-idol Takada-chan. Aoi is also an exceptionally powerful sorcerer, undoubtedly one of Jujutsu High's strongest students. He obtained the rank of a grade 1 jujutsu sorcerer as a student despite coming from a non-sorcerer family.

Cursed Energy Manipulation

• Black Flash (Kokusen): A technique that creates spatial distortion when a user connects with an impact of cursed energy within a span of 0.000001 seconds of a physical hit. The phenomenon causes the cursed energy to flash black, creating an attack that is equal to a normal hit to the power of 2.5.
• Showing One's Cards: A commonly used Binding Vow by many Jujutsu practitioners. By divulging how his cursed technique works, Aoi can increase the effectiveness of his technique as well as mislead his opponents on how it works.

Cursed Techniques

• Boogie Woogie: Aoi's Innate Technique allows him to switch the positions of anything with cursed energy within his range with a clap of his hands. He can change himself out with the location of another person, or switch two different parties other than himself as well.
• Simple Domain (Kan'i Ryoiki): A type of Barrier Technique that automatically neutralizes or counters all cursed techniques in a set area of space.

Momo Nishimiya

Momo Nishimiya is a third-year student at Kyoto Jujutsu High and a semi-grade 2 jujutsu sorcerer. She first appears as a reserved girl who is intimidated by the students from the Tokyo School. She has a close relationship with the other girls at her school, Kasumi and Mai, and believes that women are unfairly treated in the jujutsu world, in comparison to men. This prejudice influences her own personality, as Momo is shown to care a lot about cuteness and her overall appearance. She isn't normally the direct combat type and works well as a scout for a group of sorcerers.

Cursed Technique

• Tool Manipulation (Tsukumo Sojutsu): Momo can telepathically control her broom, allowing her to levitate it independently of herself. She can use her broom to strike and can generate powerful gusts of cursed energy wind.
• Wind Scythe (Kama Itachi): By swinging her broom as she rides it, Momo can launch a strong gust of cursed energy wind towards her opponents.

Cursed Tools

• Broom: Momo carries a straw broom similar to those used by witches. It is compatible with her cursed technique, allowing Momo to manipulate it at will.
