7 Reasons Why Doraemon Never Dies
- The simplicity of the story surely entertains the people. We tend to watch the series in order to get some refreshment rather than follow the heavy story just like in other anime.
- There are thousands of gadgets have been featured in Doraemon. The number of tools has been approximated at 4,500. With that many numbers, the audience are invited to expand their imagination. Let's pretend on how to use them wisely if, for example, we retrieved the gadgets.
- The gang consist of 5 prominent members, Doraemon, Nobita, Shizuka, Gian, and Suneo. The conflict is usually initiated among them even though sometimes involves other supporting characters. It is said the traits of characters are based on the real life students in the author school in the past. You know even this age we can easily find a bunch of kids like that, which means it exactly looks like what happens in daily life.
- A team called The Doraemons is introduced as the spin-off of the series. It is a team consist of 7 doraemon robots from the robot academy. The gags shown in the story give the impression of being a real comedy for me. Every character has their own unique traits which is presented as jokes. You need to watch this if you want something new from Doraemon series.
- The famous Dorayaki in the anime turns out to be the actual pancake. Many thought that it was a fiction due to the similarity with the initial word of Doraemon. I have never tried one but I wonder if the taste is as good as it seem on the series.
- You realize it or not, Doraemon anime often discuss various environmental issues including homeless animals, global warming, endangered species, deforestation, and pollution. Miscellaneous educational topics such as dinosaurs, the flat Earth theory, wormhole traveling, Gulliver's Travels, and the history of Japan are often discussed as well. This seems a good start to introduce those topic to the young children in their early age.
- Most of Doraemon episodes are comedies with lessons regarding values such as honesty, perseverance, courage, and respect. I do not know it works or not, but again these values suit the audience of young children to build their characters in the future.
