4 Groups of Racer In Let's & Go


I categorized the racers in Let's & Go anime into several groups here. It is not included the teams that participate in the World Grand Prix. Mostly the characters below appear in Let's & Go as well as Let's & Go Max. Check these out!

1. Ichimonji Brothers 

Gouki Ichimonji
He is a former Battle Racer at Borzoi School until he and his brother quit due to their conflicting ideals between him and the academy itself. He aims to become a true Mini 4WD racer with his brother to clear his reputation. He is also shown to be good on mechanics.
Cars: Max Breaker Z2, Blazing Max
Special Technique: Max Storm

Retsuya Ichimonji
He is a Battle Racer at Borzoi School and is a good in racing. But like his brother, he also left the battle racing scene and decided to change for the better.
Cars: Shadow Breaker Z3, Knuckle Breaker Z1
Special Techniques: Plasma System, Super Noval Attack, Knuckle Barrier, Knuckle Storm


2. Ogami Corps

Marina Ogami
A skilled Battle Racer and Mini 4WD racer, she owns the Fire Stinger, a successor to the Ray Stinger developed by his father. She later joined the Borzoi School after being reunited with her father and her machine being upgraded to the Phoenix Stinger.
Cars: Fire Stinger, Phoenix Stinger
Special Technique: Flame Bird

Kai Okita
His car, the Beak Spider, caused a mass scare where Mini 4WDs around city parks were secretly damaged, much to ire of the owners. In the WGP anime, he runs the Savanna Zebra team, where the team members uses a modified version of his car, called Beak Spider Zebra.

Gen Kondo
He is the owner of Brocken Gigant, a front-motor Mini 4WD that possess the ability to perform a wheelie to stomp and destroy his rival cars.

Rei Hijikata
Rei is the owner of the Ray Stinger, that could be controlled with laser and has a needle to attack her opponent cars.

3. Borzoi School

Sakyou Majima
He is the first rank in S-Class Borzoi School, easily makes him one of the best racer of Borzoi. He owns P'keta, a Mini 4WD which uses rocket launcher as his trump card.

Special techniques: Rocket Buster, Meteor Barrier

Jin Kusanagi
Together with Zen, They are becoming the rival of Ichimonji Brothers. His car can change form from Wide Mode to Battle Mode. It even can be combined with Phantom Blade to form Phantom Vise.

Zen Kusanagi
Together with Jin, They are becoming the rival of Ichimonji Brothers. His car can be combined with Vise Intruder to form Phantom Vise.

Nero Stella Borzoi
Car: Diomars Nero


4. Other racers

Makoto Kohiru
His performances are not as shining as other racers but his determination and luck allows him to win the Winter GJC. He is also a part of the Super Great Japan Cup's 12 racers.

Futoshi Kurosawa 
Kurosawa is the owner of Black Saber, specializes in modification of the machine and upgrade parts to be used in various situations. Kurosawa usually puts weapons into his car and tries to destroy other cars.
Cars: Black Saber (Normal, CB, GX, PG, CG, Snow Special)

Jiromaru Takaba
He is Ryo Takaba's younger brother. He likes Ryo a lot and follows him around everywhere. His cars, the customized Saber 600 are constantly damaged in races.

Jun Sagami 
She is a novice at Mini 4WD racing, but improves in her skill through the influence of the Seiba brothers and others.
Cars: Wild Home Run, Home Run Manta Ray, Super Home Run Manta Ray.

Chiko Mikuni
She is Tokichi's younger sister. She uses her own Mini 4WD called the Flower Axe which is a customized variant of the Spin Axe.

R
She is J's older sister originally thought to have died in a plane accident on her way to America while she and J were still kids. She is last seen returning to America, saying that if J sees her there, she would show J what real racing is.

Akira Sakurabayasi
Car: Adean

Kazuma Daizen
He is the older brother of Chikara. He and Chikara always join the various race together.
Car: Red Sword
Special Techniques: Rainbow Twin Lancer, Rainbow Twin Dabbling

Chikara Daizen
He is the young brother of Kazuma. He and Kazuma alys join the various race together.
Car: Blue Sword
Special Techniques: Rainbow Twin Lancer, Rainbow Twin Dabbling

Unit 9 In Active Raid

Unit 9 is one of the police force in Active Raid anime. The members of this team are: Kyoukai Sama  As a mechanic and operator of Unit 9, he handles decisions. In some cases, He also conducts on-site surveys. Like Kyoukai, they are dispatched from the association, but they do not seem to know each other's names. He is also in charge of narration for Unit 9 commercials. He also uses the pseudonym " Owashi Joe ". Asami Kazari A new member in Unit 8, she was assigned to monitor Unit 8 due to their bad reputation, and possibly to take steps in improving their activities. Like Sena, she is serious and prefers to stick to the law. She operates the Oscar VI Fine Familia. After the Logos incident she becomes the leader of the new Unit 9, and her reputation becomes even worse than Unit 8's. She usually utters English phrases in their conversations. Fingers The codename for all member of Unit 9. They are the elite candidate who entered the National Police Academy as a skipper.

Unit 8 In Active Raid

Unit 8 is a police unit that is authorized to use Will Wears and the ACTIVE system. Due to their collateral damage of city infrastructure, Unit 8 has a bad reputation within the police force and public media. While the Japanese title of the anime only refers to them as "Public Mobile Assault Unit Eight", official materials translate their title as "Special Public Security Fifth Division Third Mobile Assault Eighth Unit." The members are: Takeru Kuroki A Lieutenant and one of Unit 8's Willwearers, he operates the Oscar 2 Strike Interceptor. He has an enthusiastic personality and is laid-back when it comes to proper police procedure.
