Mohammad Alai
Fighting Style: Mohammad Alai's Boxing Style
Description: Mohammad Alai is a legendary boxer who dedicated his life in fighting for the weak, and developing a perfect art of fighting. When he was still young, he encountered a young Yuujirou Hanma with whom he had a short fight, to see how his art of fighting is developed. He had the world strongest and fastest punches. Due to his age and having an advanced disease, he's weaker than he used to be. But despite that, he can still have the speed and the power just like in his prime time, but only for one minute. He learned over time that his fighting style had major problems in it. He taught his son what he could while trying to fix the problem.

Techniques
  • Jab: It is a quick, sharp punch created with the lead arm, typically aimed at an opposing opponent's head.
  • Sway Back: The user swaying back or stepping completely backwards from the opponent.

Atsushi Suedou
Fighting Style: Shinshinkai Karate
Description: Atsushi Suedou is a 3rd dan Shinshinkai Karate student. At the beginning, Suedou is an arrogant and very confident Shinshinkai karate student. After losing the fight against Baki Hanma, he became his friend and even started to cheers him during his fights. Suedou is a very tall man with an incredible strength, speed, and striking power. He is capable of bench-press 270 kg and run 100 meters in 11 seconds. While typically an aggressive fighter, Suedou is at his best when calm. When he regains his composure, his fighting style becomes excellent.

Techniques
  • Seiken: It is a karate practitioner's straight punch, shot from waist.
  • Submission: The user grabs the opponent's arm, and then he slams him into the ground. With this move, the user can easly break his opponent's arm.
  • Chop-Blow: The user slaps the opponent by using clenched palm
  • Sanchin: It is a kata where the user concentrates on stance, breathing, and stability in order to take blows with little damage.

Mitsunari Tokugawa
Description: Mitsunari Tokugawa is an old man who is referred to by the title Noble Elder as a sign of respect. He is the 13th head of the Tokugawa clan and apparently descended from Tokugawa Mitsukuni, also known as Mito Koumon. He never does any fighting of his own, but is very knowledgeable in the world of martial arts and enjoys spectating battles. He is the tournament runner and owner of the underground arena, where many big fights of the series are held. Despite physically useless, Tokugawa is very rich and has extensive authority in Japan and even to abroad, which makes him dangerous in his own right.

Techniques
  • Slap: A move that strikes sharply with the open hand, bringing the hand with a sharp blow against something.

Kozue Matsumoto
Description: Kozue Matsumoto is Baki Hanma's schoolmate and the daughter of Kinuyo Matsumoto, Baki's landlady. In later parts of the series, Kozue is also his girlfriend. Her father fought and died in the Underground Arena. She is usually a quiet and quite shy girl. Though she appears to have a passive and soft personality, she has no problem asserting herself. Kozue can show great courage during various battles of Baki, wanting to motivate him or show her support. It is worth mentioning that she was a great source of motivation for Baki at some point in the series and gave him a lot of strength.

Rumina Ayukawa
Description: Rumina Ayukawa is a grade-schooler who challenged Baki Hanma after being challenged by his friends. Afterwards, Rumina was complimented for taking a blow, Baki then took him to his home and demonstrated his shadow boxing.
