8 Main Personas In Persona 4 The Animation

Persona is a manifestation of a Persona user's personality in the Persona series. A Persona is similar to a Shadow. Shadows are malevolent manifestations of one's inner thoughts, while a Persona is a manifestation of the same feelings but tamed and trained. If an individual takes up a resolution in their heart, the Persona will undergo a metamorphosis into a stronger form. Here is the list of main characters in Persona 4 The Animation:

Izanagi
Izanagi is the Yu Narukami's initial Persona. When he first encounters the Shadows, Izanagi's voice prompts him to awaken to the power within. Yu then mutters the word Persona and summons forth Izanagi. Yu represented Hope and thus his Izanagi is pure.

Jiraiya
In Persona 4, Jiraiya is Yosuke Hanamura's initial Persona. When he and Yu enter the Midnight Channel to investigate the death of Saki Konishi, Yosuke faces his other self and obtains the facade used to overcome life's hardships, the Persona Jiraiya. With the encouragement from Yu, Yosuke then accepts his other self and harnesses the power of Persona as Jiraiya.

Tomoe Gozen
When Chie facing her other self which turned it into Shadow Chie, Yu and Yosuke managed to defeat her. With their help, Chie accepted her other self which then manifested into Tomoe. Tomoe learns a limited amount of spells early on and then focuses on physical attacks, since she is mainly designed for physical abilities.

Konohana Sakuya
Konohana Sakuya is the initial Persona of Yukiko Amagi. It is the group's first primary healer, learning many healing skills early on. Konohana Sakuya also uses powerful Fire magic, and is the group's primary Fire spell-caster.

Take-Mikazuchi
Take-Mikazuchi is Kanji Tatsumi's initial Persona. It differs from the regular incarnations and resembles a large black robot with skeletal designs. It holds a lightning bolt which it uses to cast Zio magic by shattering or as a typical sword.

Himiko
Himiko is the initial Persona of Rise Kujikawa, once she accepts the truth by embracing her shadow self as a part of her own in Marukyu Striptease. Himiko's head appears as a large satellite and in her hands she holds a head device, resembling a torch that allows Rise to a specific location of a person in the Midnight Channel. She is an information gathering Persona and therefore does not participate actively in battles.

Kintoki-Douji
Kintoki-Douji is Teddie's initial Persona. It is of the Star Arcana. It has the appearance of a bulbous red boiler with stubby limbs in a blue cape, carrying a tomahawk missile in its arms. It is capable in using Ice spells and is also the other main healer.

Sukuna-Hikona
Sukuna-Hikona appears as Naoto Shirogane's Initial Persona. Even though Sukuna-Hikona is a deity of medicine, it is unable to learn healing spells, but instead specializing on Light and Dark skills along with Almighty attacks. However, the Shadow it manifested from had wanted to perform a body-altering operation of sorts.

Unit 9 In Active Raid

Unit 9 is one of the police force in Active Raid anime. The members of this team are: Kyoukai Sama  As a mechanic and operator of Unit 9, he handles decisions. In some cases, He also conducts on-site surveys. Like Kyoukai, they are dispatched from the association, but they do not seem to know each other's names. He is also in charge of narration for Unit 9 commercials. He also uses the pseudonym " Owashi Joe ". Asami Kazari A new member in Unit 8, she was assigned to monitor Unit 8 due to their bad reputation, and possibly to take steps in improving their activities. Like Sena, she is serious and prefers to stick to the law. She operates the Oscar VI Fine Familia. After the Logos incident she becomes the leader of the new Unit 9, and her reputation becomes even worse than Unit 8's. She usually utters English phrases in their conversations. Unit 8 is a police unit that is authorized to use Will Wears and the ACTIVE system. Due to their collateral damage of city infrastructure, Unit 8 has a bad reputation within the police force and public media. While the Japanese title of the anime only refers to them as "Public Mobile Assault Unit Eight", official materials translate their title as "Special Public Security Fifth Division Third Mobile Assault Eighth Unit." The members are: Takeru Kuroki A Lieutenant and one of Unit 8's Willwearers, he operates the Oscar 2 Strike Interceptor. He has an enthusiastic personality and is laid-back when it comes to proper police procedure.
