Valkyries In Record Of Ragnarok
The Valkyries are a group of thirteen demigoddesses that are charged with choosing the most worthy human warriors and guiding their souls to Valhalla after their death. These warriors were to be used as an army for the gods. However, a rumor has floated around since ancient times that the Valkyries goals was never to create an army for Heaven. Instead the Valkyries would bond with their chosen warriors and transform into weapons befitting of the wielder in a pact that would be known as Volundr. The souls gathered by the Valkyries were the force they prepared to fight against the gods should Ragnarok begin.
BrunhildeBrunhilde is the eldest of the 13 Valkyrie sisters. She stood up against the Gods in an attempt to save Humanity. She is the ongoing main protagonist of the series as she is the one who chose Humanity's finest and strongest warriors in Ragnarok to stand up against the strongest Gods and slay them. While not on the par of the Einherjar or her fellow Gods. Brunhilde is a competent fighter and has Volundr, The ability to turn into any weapon based on her partner's preference.
HristHrist is the second of the 13 Valkyrie sisters. She performed a Volundr with Kojiro Sasaki during the third round of Ragnarok. She has a bipolar personality, which causes her to switch between a calm and gentle demeanor and a violent and aggressive one. She also has two different eye colors depending on her mood: emerald green eyes when she is calm and golden eyes when she is angry. Hrist's volundr has a unique property which allowed her to split into two weapons when the original weapon Monohoshizao was broken.
ThrudThrud is the third of the 13 Valkyrie sisters. She performed Volundr with Raiden Tameemon during the fifth round of Ragnarok. She is an enormous woman with an extremely muscular build. Thrud is insecure about her appearance and refers to herself as a monster. Thrud's Volundr has a unique property which allowed her to become an inhibitor through Raiden's sumo gear to prevent his muscles from going out of control and destroying him while also granting him complete control over his body's muscle mass.
RandgrizRandgriz is the fourth of the 13 Valkyrie sisters. She performed Volundr with Lu Bu during the first round of Ragnarok. Not much can be said about her character due to her limited screen time, although one of Randgriz's more noticable personality traits is her loyalty to Brunhilde. Randgriz's Volundr has a unique property which has ability to destroy any form of defense. This ability was demonstrated when Lu Bu used his Sky Piercer to destroy one of Thor's Jarngreipr, which were stated to be the strongest armor in Heaven.
ReginleifReginleif is the seventh of the 13 Valkyrie sisters. She performed a Volundr with Adam during the second round of Ragnarok. She is very loyal to her sisters and supports Brunhilde's idea of Ragnarok. She was also the one who tutored Goll with her education. Reginleif's unique ability has not been specified and it is unknown if she even has one. She turned into a knuckleduster when being partnered with Adam, with no unique ability besides making Adam's punches have a stronger impact on the enemy.
AlvitrAlvitr is the tenth of the 13 Valkyrie sisters. She performed Volundr with Qin Shi Huang during the seventh round of Ragnarok. Much like her sister, Hlokk, Alvitr is an aggressive woman, growing furious at how Qin Shi Huang entered the ring through the Gods' VIP area and how he had never practiced the Volundr with her. Alvitr's Volundr has a unique property which allowed her to provide defensive strength to protect Qin Shi Huang from the enemy's most lethal attacks while allowing him to maximise the full potential of his martial arts.

However, she shows her respect and admiration for the Human warriors who fought to the end for the sake of Humanity's survival.
