Earthly Surplices Of Specter In Saint Seiya
Surplices are the armors worn by the 108 Specters, the army of the god Hades. They are equivalent to Athena's Cloths, Pallas Chronotectors, Odin's God Robes, Eris Leaf, and Poseidon's Scales. According to the legend, Surplices are made from minerals from the Underworld, and they represent monsters from various mythologies and literary works. Here is the list of Earthly Surplices:
Deep SurpliceThe Deep Surplice is one of Surplices. It is based on the Deep Ones, creatures in the Cthulhu Mythos of H. P. Lovecraft.
Papillon SurpliceMyu's surplice is based on a butterfly, Papillon is French for butterfly. In many world legends, butterflies are associated with the souls of the dead and with resurrection.
Worm SurpliceThe Worm Surplice is represents a common Worm, but is depicted as a multi headed sharp toothed Worm with a bigger center body. Worms often have a morbid connection with death and graves, as they are decomposers who feed on dead plant and animal matter.
Cyclops SurpliceGigant's Surplice represents the mythological creature called Cyclops, and is depicted as a sitting one. The Cyclopses in mythology were originally 3 giant children of Gaia, the Earth, and Ouranos, the Sky, and each Cyclops only had one eye. However, due to their power and lack of beauty, Ouranos imprisoned them in Tartarus.

Dullahan SurpliceThe Irish dullahan is a type of unseelie fairie. It is headless, usually seen riding a black horse and carrying his head under one arm. The head's eyes are massive and constantly dart about like flies, while the mouth is constantly in a hideous grin that touches both sides of the head.
Sylph SurpliceThe Sylph Surplice is one of Surplices. In the anime adaptation of the series this surplice grant the wearer an energy attack to hit Jamir's protective barrier.
