Hades' Specters In Saint Seiya The Lost Canvas

The Specters are the 108 soldiers of Hades, also known as the Demonic Stars, are the equivalents of Athena's Saints. Although many Specters are killed during the series, most are brought back to life by Hades. The Specters are divided according to their destiny stars: Earthly and Heavenly Stars. Celestial Star Specters

Bennu Kagaho

Kagaho shows loneliness, sadism and rage in battle and determination. He has a rivalry with Libra Dohko and memories of his dead younger brother Sui. He is one of the most powerful Specters and also known as the fastest one, being able to fight against Gold Saints at the same level. His ability allows him to create black flames with his Cosmo.

• Corona Blast: Kagaho creates an enormous sphere of black fire similar to a star, then shoots it at his opponent.
• Crucify Ankh: Kagaho shoots many black fire stakes that enter into the body of the opponent and start burning him from the inside. Then the black fire binds the opponent until the body is destroyed.
• Rising Darkness: Kagaho creates a small, black sun which raises the temperature similar to that of desert environments, dehydrating the victim.

Mandrake Fyodor

Mandrake Fyodor is an extremely sadistic Specter who has his own torture chamber in the depths of Yomotsu Hirasaka, the Hill to the Land of Spirits. He held Tenma captive until the Pegasus Saint was rescued by Yato and Yuzuriha, and then was slain by his former prisoner. Later he was resurrected by Hades.

Behemoth Violate is the shadow within Alone's shadow that guards him. Dryad Luco is a Specter who physically resembles Pisces Lugonis, Albafica's master, as the latter was Luco's older brother. Luco sought to relieve his brother from the curse of his poisonous blood, but was unable to as Lugonis died in the Red Bond ritual. Later on, he is secretly concocting herb brews from the Underworld that transform people into servants of Hades.

• Curse of Lily: With white lilies, he could cure and sedate the target.

Mephistopheles Yoma

Mephistopheles Yoma is a Specter and the father of the Pegasus Saint Tenma. He is known as the only man who has hurt Hades' body since the ages of myth. It is later revealed that Yoma is Kairos, a former Time god and the younger brother of Khronos, a superior god of time. When revealing his true appearance, Kairos has a gigantic circle behind him, with spears all over it. As a former Time God, he also could stop time in a given area.

• Marvelous Room: With a simple hand gesture Yoma creates a vortex of time and space, able to dissolve and disintegrate the enemy's body into quantum particles.

• Real Marvelous: Yoma's most powerful attack. He uses it while in his original form as Kairos, against Aspros. It creates a massive dark whirlpool against the enemy, which fatally lacerates the body in opposing rotations.

Owl Partita

Owl Partita is said to be neither Specter nor Saint. Owl Partita was in life, a young woman, servant of Pandora's family, wife of the Specter Mephistopheles Yoma and mother of Pegasus Tenma. She was abandoned by Yoma during Tenma's early childhood. The memory of holding her rough hand lies deep within Tenma's heart. She was killed by the Skeleton soldiers sent by Pandora. She is revealed by Yoma to have been revived by Hades, and gravely wounds Pandora in revenge for her murder.

Terrestrial Star Specters

Cait Sith Cheshire

Cheshire is somewhat of a comic relief character, acting more like a servant than a combatant, as he is seen riding Pandora's carriage and guiding the Specter that invaded Jamir. His mannerisms are depicted in the stereotypical feline behavior common in manga and anime.

Bat Wimber

Bat Wimber is an assassin sent to Greece by Pandora, ordered to kill Pegasus Tenma. He has shown bat-like capabilities and attribute, such as staying upside-down under a rock cliff, the taste for blood, having extremely sharp teeth, and being able to control bats. He is able to injure Taurus Aldebaran, but is overwhelmed and killed by the Saint's strength.

• Nightmare Sonar: Wimber calls forth massive numbers of bats, which unleash ultrasonic waves that brings the opponent into a deep slumber.

Sylph Edward

Edward was a Specter in command of the group sent by Hades to Jamir in order to recover the Mokurenji fruits, which were stolen from the underworld by Pegasus Tenma, Unicorn Yato and Crane Yuzuriha. With the creation of the 108 beads Mala, his soul is trapped into one of the beads, making it impossible to resurrect again.

Silhouette Kageboshi
