The Sanada Ten Braves

These are Sanada Yukimura's warriors who fight under him. Here is the list of them:

Saizo Kirigakure 

Occupation: Ninja, Brave of Light
Description: Saizo Kirigakure is the main character of the series. He is the leader of the Sanada Ten Braves and an Iga ninja known by the name of Marishi-ten, who makes his living as an assassin. His weapon allows him to use flash that enables him to accelerate. He was rumored to be the genius ninja who has never let a single strand of hair of his to be touched. Saizo was a cold, efficient ninja who killed many people, but later changed after he met Isanami, who believed in him. His element is light.

• Mari-Blade: A big Zanbatou with a ring on its handle like that of kunai. Normaly it is bandaged and Saizo wears it on his back. When he uses his techniques with this sword letters engraved on its blade can be seen.
• Hidden Blades: Saizo has retractable hidden blades in his boots.
• Ninja Tools: He has several kunai, explosives and throwing knives.
• Secret Technique, Heaven Returner: He spins Mari-Blade in front of himself deflecting and returning every projectile shot in him back into opponent(s).
• Secret Technique, Instant Light: He moves with incredible speed slicing several opponent or inflicting several wounds to one opponent with Mari-Blade in a blink of eye.
• Ninja Art, Early Summer Rain: He throws eight throwing knives into opponent at once and makes knives invisible.
• Illusionary Clones: He is able to create afterimage-like illusions of himself.
• Ninja Art, Hunter Falcons: He instantly closes the gap between himself and his opponent,then attacks the opponent with a incredibly powerful blade strike from the Mari-Blade. Even when blocked,this technique was shown capable of pushing back Anastasia with great force.
• Ninja Art, The Perfect Strike: He positions his Mari-Blade in front of him,then dives in the direction of his opponent. This technique is strong enough to shatter the ice produced by Anastasia's Ice Pillars technique.

Isanami 

Occupation: Miko, Goddess
Description: Isanami is the female protagonist of the series. She was the priestess (miko) of the Izumo shrine before it was burnt to the ground. She harbors feelings for Saizo. Among the braves, Isanami is the darkness. Later it is revealed that she was the goddess of darkness that took 1000 peoples’ lives, and the only one that can stop her is Saizo. Her element is darkness.

• Death Wave: She has the ability to channel a small amount of her power through the Kushi-mitama, which forms a wave of energy that can turn anything it touches into ash.

Sasuke Sarutobi 

Occupation: Ninja
Description: Sasuke Sarutobi is a member of the Koga Ninja, and head of Sanada's ninja squad. His ability to manipulate animals is powerful, and he holds command over horned owls, weasels, and many other creatures of the forest. He is Saizo's most prominent rival. His element is grass.

• Knives: His main weapon are two knives.
• Ninja Tools: Throwing knives, paralysis herbs.
• Animal manipulation: He is able to command at least some of animals living in the forest: owls, wolves and weasels.
• Paralysis Herbs: He has the ability to summon leaves that can paralyse an opponent upon touch.

Roruko Unno 

Occupation: Yukimura's Page
Description: Roruko Unno is Yukimura Sanada's most loyal servant, and Rokuro can always be found at his side. In emergencies, he attacks by emitting ultrasonic waves from his mouth. His element is water.

• Triangular Swords: Rokuro uses two short swords with triangular blades and triangular hole in them. They are used to increase power of his ultrasonic waves.
• Ultrasonic Waves: He is able to emit ultrasonic waves from his mouth to disorient opponent(s) and make him/them unconscious.
• Right Eye: He is able to store writings in his right eye

Anastasia 

Occupation: Ninja, Assasin
Description: Anastasia is Saizo Kirigakure's childhood friend and a female member of the Iga ninja. She uses Ice magic that she is capable of freezing water and mist in an instant, thus earning her the name Anastasia of the Glacier. Her element is ice.

• Ninja Tools: Kunai, Sword
• Ice Creation and Manipulation: She is able to create ice from water or moisture in the air and manipulate it.
• Iga Ice Technique, Ice Pack: She creates small ice on her legs and shoots it into opponent as icicles.

Benmaru 

Occupation: Fire Works/Trap Maker (formerly)
Description: Benmaru, real name Rokuro Mochizuki, is a young boy who meets Saizo Kirigakure and the others during their travels where he was seeking a lord worth serving until he eventually found Yukimura Sanada to whom he becomes the adopted son. After his adoption, he is now known as Yukimura Daisuke. He excels in traps and bombs. His element was fire.

• Fire Works: Benmaru uses these for offense when it explodes and he also uses it to distract his foes.
• Sling Shot: Benmaru uses this to frighten an enemy's animal when they are near a trap or he uses it to activate a trap nearby.

Jinpachi Nezu 

Occupation: Leader of Pirates
Description: Jinpachi Nezu is the head of a band of pirates controlling Lake Biwa who starts a friendship with Juzo Kakei after they meet during his travels and the two swear an oath of brotherhood. His partner is a black panther named Veronica. His element is lightning.

• Lightning Manipulation: Jinpachi possesses the power to manipulate lightning at will and has incredible strength. He can take enemies down with one bolt of lightning.

Kamanosuke Yuri 

Occupation: Leader of Brigands (formerly), Sanada's Brave
Description: Kamanosuke Yuri is the leader of a group of brigands who trap people on a bridge, attack them and rob them. Despite constantly proclaiming that he is male, Kamanosuke's feminine appearance causes much confusion about his gender. He also refuses to show his body in front of others, and later develops a crush for Saizo. He wields a large sickle and is able to control wind as his element.

• Kusarigama: His main weapon which consists of a sickle (kama) on a metal chain (kusari) with heavy iron weight (fundo) on the other end of the chain.
• Wind Manipulation: He is able to manipulate wind shooting powerful wind blasts into opponent with his strikes.
• Great Whirlwind: He shots powerful cutting whirlwind into opponent from his Kusarigama.

Juzo Kakei 

Occupation: Samurai
Description: Juzo Kakei is an uptight and traditional samurai who excels in sniping. He is loyal to Sanada Yukimura. He loves his guns to the point of naming them one by one. His element is metal.

• Matchlock: He uses a rapid-shooting matchlock as his main weapon, which he calls Saya.

Miyoshi Seikai Nyudo 

Occupation: Monk, Brave of Earth
Description: Miyoshi Seikai Nyudo was a resident of the Izumo shrine before he went on a journey by himself. He is the adoptive brother of Isanami, as they were both raised by the shrine's head priest. He has a monstrous power and muscles that can block shuriken and crush the ground. His element is earth.

• Tenbatsu: Is a power punch, in which he uses enough force to create a hole in a wall.
• Rokkon Shojo Namu Amida Butsu: He swings his mace around before slamming it into the ground by forcing the opponent away.
• Hannya Harami: He smashes his mace onto the opponent.
• Taizan Meido: He brings down his spiked mace in a vertical way with enough force, going towards his opponent.
