Tomoko Higashikata 

She is the single mother of Josuke Higashikata, As a single mother and teacher, Tomoko is known to show a strong temperament, disliking it when guys try to hit on her and she gets annoyed quite easily. She also seems to be mildly perceptive. Despite her sharp temperament, she is mostly a kind person, particularly to her family and friends.

Ryohei Higashikata 

He is the grandfather of Josuke and the father of Tomoko Higashikata. Ryohei is shown as having a humorous personality, even threatening Josuke with a fake gun as a form of a joke and ignoring a report to him due to the accused being his daughter. However, he was genuinely dedicated to protecting the public, something that Josuke admired about him.

Reimi Sugimoto 

Reimi was Yoshikage Kira's third victim in his life as a serial killer. As a Ghost, she haunts a hidden street of Morioh in the hopes of meeting someone willing to help her bring Kira to justice. Having saved an infant Rohan Kishibe from Kira, Rohan takes it upon himself to close this case by finding the killer. She survives as a Ghost, generally restricted to Ghost Girl's Alley in Morioh and the surrounding area.

Arnold 

Arnold is Reimi Sugimoto's pet dog. Much like Reimi, Arnold is a ghost that remains by her side as she bides her time in the alley. As a guard dog, Arnold is big and strong, but friendly to strangers. Loyal to his master, he remained by her side even in the afterlife. He has a huge gash across his throat that is dripping with blood as a result of his death.

Hayato Kawajiri 

Hayato is the son of Kosaku and Shinobu Kawajiri and discovers that his father was replaced by Yoshikage Kira. He subsequently tries to put a stop to Kira's threat. He is a quiet boy who spends most of his time in his bedroom. He rarely speaks to his parents, preferring to spy on them with electronic devices he has planted in their room. According to his mother, he has no close friends.

Ayana Hirose 

Ayana is the older sister of Koichi Hirose and the daughter of Mr. Hirose and Mrs. Hirose, and she is in her final year at an all-girls high school. She and her mother are attacked by Tamami Kobayashi, who amplifies their guilt with his Stand, The Lock. She is a kind, polite young lady. She cares for her brother and calls him Ko-chan like their mother. She is also seen to enjoy occasionally teasing Koichi.

Koichi Hirose's Mother 

She is the wife of Mr. Hirose and the mother of Ayana Hirose and Koichi Hirose. She is tricked into believing Tamami Kobayashi's lies about her son, causing her guilt to amplify due to Tamami's Stand, The Lock. She is a cheerful, lively woman. She is welcoming to visitors, seen being open to conversation with Tamami and defending him when Koichi rushes in. In general, she is cordial to strangers and gets along with them well.

Shinobu Kawajiri 

Shinobu is a housewife and the mother of Hayato. She has a personality closer to that of a younger woman than a responsible mother, detesting her marriage. While she felt no hatred towards Kosaku, her relationship with him was cold and full of regret. She wished for more excitement in her life and often lashed out at her husband and son out of frustration. Though she resents her son for trapping her in her marriage, she occasionally reaches out to him, only to be ignored. She is very pleased when he finally begins to return her affection.
