The Machine Empire In B't X

The Machine Empire is an organization devoted in developing cyborgs and mechanical beasts, powered by human blood, called the B't. They are led by the Machine Emperor who sends the design and materials for each B't. The Empire's sole mission is to conquer the world using technology.

The Machine Emperor
The Machine Emperor is the founder and leader of the Machine Empire. He has existed for more than 300 years. He is claiming that his main objective is true peace in the world. For this reason, he is regarded as a god by his subordinates. The Machine Emperor is also responsible for the design of all B't creations, including Raphael.

The Area
The Area is the base of the Machine Empire located in the Gobi Desert. The Area is hidden from the outside world by desert storms which most likely devised the the Machine Empire as a cover.
  • Misha: He is the representative commander in The Machine Empire, serving directly under the Machine Emperor as his agent. He is the twin sister of Nasha. Although just a child, Misha has been granted by the Machine Emperor the power of life and death, along with psychokinetic abilities. His B't is Zeta.
  • Nasha: She is the same emperor's agent as Misha, but her brother is in control and she does not give orders openly. She seems to have some psychic powers but her body has already reached its limit because it does not use psycho-clone technology like her brother. Her B't is Theta.
  • Major Aramis: Commander of the Area. Disguised herself as a man and was later revealed that she was the legendary warrior who never lost a battle before the time of the Four Knights, the Rose Knight. She is the donor of the B't Rosemary.
  • Juggler: Juggler the Clown is an emissary and assassin working for Misha. He took over the role of Commander Aramis when it was clear that she was a traitor to the Machine Empire. He is the donor of the B't Vanilla Fudge.
  • Metalface: He is a lieutenant in the Machine Empire. He deems the human body limited and weak so he allowed the Machine Empire to transform part of his body into a robot, giving him the strength and durability of a cyborg. He is the donor of the B't Madonna

Spirit Generals
The Spirit Generals are four warrior generals under The Machine Empire who control the strongest B't.
  • Karen: She is an engineer and inventor who worked inside the Dome with Aramis. Karen was one of the first people to find out about Raphael's devastating nature when she witnesses a group of children, including her younger sister, get attacked by the B't. She wields a sansetsukon and a knife as weapon and is the donor of the B't X.
  • Fou Lafine: He is a priest who cares for orphan children in the Machine Empire. He resides in a chapel in the outskirts of the empire. Fou is a musician and wields a violin's bow as weapon. He is the donor of the B't Je t'aime.
  • Ron: He is a martial artist and is one of the most loyal warriors of the Machine Emperor. His conviction is questioned when the three Spirit Generals betray the Empire after finding out about the emperor's true intentions. Arguably the most capable fighter of the four, he wields a Chinese spear in battle. He is the donor of the B't Raido.
  • Hokuto: He is a doctor and scientist who spends most of his time underground in the laboratory built inside his B't Max. Hokuto is instrumental in the upgrades which grants Teppei Takamiya and X enhanced capabilities during their journey towards The Area.

Seven Evil Knights
The Seven Evil Knights have earned a reputation in the Machine Empire for being formidable in battle. They are as powerful as the Spirit Generals.
  • Misslim: He is the strongest member of the Seven Evil Knights, a league of assassins working for Misha. He claims to be the Prince of Darkness. He is the member of the 7 Evil Knights and the donor of the B't La Lainya.
  • Quattro: He is one of the Seven Evil Knights and a childhood friend of Fou Lafine. He seems to hold some kind of grudge against Fou due to the death of his sister Lily. He is the donor of the B't Lorezzo
  • Meimu: He is one of the Seven Evil Knights. He uses nightmare manipulation as a weapon and was secretly Hokuto's elder brother Subaru. He is the donor of the B't Halloween.
  • Gai: He is one of the seven demon generals and appears in manga only. He is a philosopher and a scientist specializing in Eternal matter. He is the donor to the B't Shendu
  • Salome: He is a member of 7 Evil Knights who appears in manga only. She can control the minds and actions of others when they hear a music that she performs. She is one of the machine empire’s dogs because she lost faith in humanity. He is the donor of B't Halcyon.
  • Sapphire: He is a member of 7 Evil Knights who appears in manga only. He is obsessed with beauty and has a cybernetic body made of precious stones. He adores gems and uses Eroica's abilities to turn people into crystals. He is the donor of B't Eroica.
  • Dr. Poe: He was Hokuto's rival in the academy and is one of the 7 Evil Knights who appears in manga only. He is the donor of B't Cadenza.

Dark Knights
The Dark Knights are a group of assassins working for the Machine Empire. Similar to medieval knights, the Dark Knights' weapon of choice is the lance.
  • Rai: He is a member of the Dark Knights. He is the donor of the B't Falcon.
  • Leon: He is a member of the Dark Knights. He is also one of the Falcon Brothers alongside Rai and Mira. He is the donor of the B't Falcon.
  • Mira: He is a high-ranking Machine Empire soldier and the leader of the Dark Knights. He is one of the Falcon Brothers. He is the donor of the B't Falcon.

Guardian of Point
Points are locations surrounding The Area, serving as strongholds against intruders. Each point typically look like normal places rather than fortresses and are protected by warriors of the Machine Empire.
  • Captain Hook: He is a pirate who guards The Desert and the donor of the B't Groupie.
  • Camilla: He is an illusionist who guards one of the points of The Area and the donor of the B't Mirage.
  • Reaper: He is a cyborg who guards the graveyard and the donor of the B't Bat
  • Bem: He is a low-ranking soldier who guards a point near The Area and the donor of the B't Cancer.
  • Balzac: He is a Machine Empire soldier who guards his own point. He is the donor of the B't Savannah.
  • Kaos: He is a legendary warrior in the Machine Empire. Kaos was an old veteran and was once one of the four Spirit Knights. He is the donor of the B't L'Amour.
  • Crow: Crow are a troop of low-level spies working for The Machine Empire and their crow B't.

Unit 9 In Active Raid

Unit 9 is one of the police force in Active Raid anime. The members of this team are: Kyoukai Sama  As a mechanic and operator of Unit 9, he handles decisions. In some cases, He also conducts on-site surveys. Like Kyoukai, they are dispatched from the association, but they do not seem to know each other's names. He is also in charge of narration for Unit 9 commercials. He also uses the pseudonym " Owashi Joe ". Asami Kazari A new member in Unit 8, she was assigned to monitor Unit 8 due to their bad reputation, and possibly to take steps in improving their activities. Like Sena, she is serious and prefers to stick to the law. She operates the Oscar VI Fine Familia. Unit 8 is a police unit that is authorized to use Will Wears and the ACTIVE system. Due to their collateral damage of city infrastructure, Unit 8 has a bad reputation within the police force and public media. While the Japanese title of the anime only refers to them as "Public Mobile Assault Unit Eight", official materials translate their title as "Special Public Security Fifth Division Third Mobile Assault Eighth Unit."
