Takamiya Brothers In B't X

Teppei Takamiya 

Teppei is the protagonist of B't X. He is the younger brother of famed biorobotics engineer Kotaro Takamiya, who took care of him when their parents died. They grew up on Kamui Island but were separated when Kotaro left to pursue his studies in Berlin. From an early age, Teppei has displayed a talent with taming animals, unlike his brother whose skills are in the academy. Teppei has since lived with an uncle whom he helps by taking care of the farm animals. When Teppei's brother Kotaro was abducted by the Machine Empire, Teppei tries to rescue him and encounters Metal Face. During the fight, Teppei's blood is able to revive the defunct B't named X, who only responds to the blood of its original owner, Karen.

• Messiah Fist: It is a glove gear that can shoot out rope to bind enemies. It can also act as a shield. Later, it is upgraded and enables to shoot out laser beams
• Break On: an attack that allows Teppei to inflict a charged fire attack using the Messiah Fist.
• Shining Knuckle: is activated by Teppei's and X's shine becoming united. It allows Teppei to send a tremendous amount of power into the enemy, causing it to self-destruct.

Kotaro Takamiya 

Kotaro is the older brother of Teppei Takamiya. He is a renowned engineer specializing in robotic biology. He grew up on Kamui Island with his brother and uncle after their parents died. At a young age, he has displayed skill in science that he soon became famous as a boy genius in the academic world. In his youth, Kotaro built a small laboratory in a cave in his hometown which served as his and his brother's hiding place. He left to study in Berlin, Germany leaving Teppei behind. In just a few years, Kotaro became one of the top scientists in the field of robotics, which led to him getting the attention of the Machine Emperor who is building highly intelligent robots called B't to be used to conquer the world. He is later kidnapped and taken to a hidden location in the middle of Gobi Desert known as The Area.
