Guardian of the Points In B't X

Points are locations surrounding The Area, serving as strongholds against intruders. Each point typically look like normal places rather than fortresses and are protected by warriors of the Machine Empire. On his journey towards The Area to rescue his brother, Teppei Takamiya together with his B't X has to go through these points and defeat the guardian in each location.

Captain Hook 
Captain Hook is a pirate who guards The Desert. He is the donor of the B't Groupie. Even without his B't, Captain Hook is an able fighter with the Hanging Rod as his weapon. It is similar to a fishing hook in that it has a retractable tip with two sharp hooks and a reel. Captain Hook uses it to entangle his enemies and claims that it is strong enough to catch a tank.
  • Electric Lightning: sends electric charge from Captain Hook's rod to his captured enemies

Groupie 
Groupie is a B't owned by Captain Hook. Groupie is shaped like a giant worm with sharp teeth on its mouth and slippery skin on its body. Its one eye is located on an antenna just above its huge orifice. Groupie emits a strong acidic vapor that metal easily disintegrates in its presence. Groupie's internal components are covered in a sea of acid which it uses to digest its swallowed victims. Groupie can also shoot out a net of acid to trap its victims.

Camilla 
Camilla is an illusionist who guards one of the points of The Area. He is the donor of the B't Mirage. Camilla's powers essentially come from the effects of Evil Flower which has the ability to cause hallucinations and enhance fears in humans and enemy B't to the extent that it can damage them mentally. The flower's pollen can also damage a B't's control system and impair its senses. For some reason Camilla and his B't Mirage are immune to the effects of the flower. To finish off his weakened enemies, Camilla uses a dao sword.

Mirage 
Mirage is the B't owned by the illusionist Camilla. It is extremely loyal to her donor and thinks very highly of his battle strategies. Mirage has a design similar to a butterfly, with colorful wings, antennae, thorax and abdomen, though she does have legs. Mirage's fighting abilities mostly rely on the effects of Camilla's Evil Flower, which inhibits the enemy's senses.
  • Death Flap: sends sonic waves towards the enemy which, in conjunction with the effect of the Evil Flower can be fatal.

The Reaper 
The Reaper is a cyborg who guards the graveyard. He was once a human named Aleph who lived in the fertile land near The Area. The Machine Emperor promised to give Aleph an immortal robotic body in exchange for his loyalty and service, which he was keen on fulfilling. Due to his cyborg enhancements, the Reaper became a strong and sinister fighter. He wields a large scythe as a weapon which can create destructive blasts even when swung from afar.

Bat 
Bat is the unnamed B't owned by The Reaper. It can manipulate small mechanical bats to form a flock and attack the living.
  • Devil Slain Crusher: The crescent-shaped blade that spits out from its mouth

Bem 
Bem is a low-ranking soldier who guards a point near The Area. He is the donor of the B't Cancer. Bem wished to stop X and his new donor Teppei Takamiya hoping to get noticed by the Machine Emperor and get promoted in the ranks. He wields an arrow-shaped rod coiled with a chain.

Cancer 
Cancer is the B't of Bem who guards the point near the graveyard. As Cancer and his donor Bem are killed off almost immediately by X's Prism of Aura, not much is known about them, except that they intend to kill Teppei and X to gain the favor of the Machine Emperor. Cancer's design is a giant crab, a reference to the astrological sign Cancer usually represented as a crab.

Balzac 
Balzac is a Machine Empire soldier who guards his own point. He is the donor of the B't Savannah. Balzac wields a trident that shoots out strong electric blasts.
  • Laser Slayer: projects a system of laser beams unto the enemy from different directions strong enough to cut even through metal, suspending movements and rendering the target immobile.

Savannah 
Savannah is the B't of Balzac who guards a point in the Machine Empire. Savannah is a formidable foe due to his agility in battle. He can also command Crazy Ants to attack for him. Savannah's design is based on the mythical animal Myrmecoleon, who according to Balzac has the head of lion and body of an ant.

Kaos 
Kaos is a legendary warrior in the Machine Empire. He is the donor of the B't L'Amour. Kaos was once the greatest warrior in the Empire, being picked first by the Emperor himself. He has since retired, taking his B't L'Amour with him, which the Empire allowed because of his past service. During his time with the Empire, Kaos realized that the B't are being used as mere weapons to achieve the Emperor's goals. He wished to rebel but was too old and weak to do so, instead decided to wait for a younger warrior to fulfill this cause.

L'Amour 
L'Amour is the B't owned by Kaos. Though L'Amour is one of the oldest B't still active, he is known to be one of the strongest, thanks to the strong bond he shares with his donor Kaos. L'Amour has extremely high defense due to the hard armor he is made of. Additionally, L'Amour is able to move at the speed of light. His greatest weapon is his horn, which also happens to be his vital point.
  • Golden Storm: sends out a brigade of bright energy forces, while enveloping the enemy in a strong pillar of wind, which can potentially rip its target apart.

Unit 9 is one of the police force in Active Raid anime. The members of this team are: Kyoukai Sama  As a mechanic and operator of Unit 9, he handles decisions. In some cases, He also conducts on-site surveys. Like Kyoukai, they are dispatched from the association, but they do not seem to know each other's names. He is also in charge of narration for Unit 9 commercials. He also uses the pseudonym " Owashi Joe ". Asami Kazari A new member in Unit 8, she was assigned to monitor Unit 8 due to their bad reputation, and possibly to take steps in improving their activities.
