The Amateur Hunters In Hunter X Hunter

The Amateur Hunters are a group of aspiring Hunters led and mentored by Kite. The group is hired by the Kakin Empire on the Azian Continent to do a biological survey. Although they are called Hunters, none of them have a Hunter License or have been confirmed to be Nen users, but Kite claims they have excellent potential to be Pro-Hunters.

Kite 
Kite was a Hunter and Ging Freecss' student. After his death, he was reborn as a Chimera Ant and Meruem's twin sibling. Colt named him Reina, after his late sister, but he took to calling himself Kite once again. His competency allowed him to mentor the group of amateur Hunters. He is also known to have a powerful aura. His En has a radius of about 45 meters, with fluctuations of 2 or 3 meters depending on his physical and mental condition. He mentions conditions for using his abilities being that he cannot choose the weapon given and that the one summoned must be used before it may disappear.
  • Crazy Slots (Conjuration): Kite's Nen ability is called Crazy Slots and allows him to conjure some weapons with a clown affixed to it. A roulette appears on the clown's tongue with numbers 1 to 9, each corresponding to a specific weapon. The weapon drawn will not disappear until used.
    • Number 2: Scythe (Conjuration): Kite conjures a very sharp and enormous scythe. It cannot be dispelled until Kite uses Silent Waltz, which is also the only way the scythe can be utilized.
      • Silent Waltz: After increasing the size of the blade, Kite swings it in a circle, generating an invisible slash that propagates in all directions.
    • Number 3: Mace (Conjuration): Kite conjures a clown-like mace or a stick, which he seems to wield the weapon with a reverse grip.
    • Number 4: Carbine (Conjuration): Kite conjures a carbine with its shape similar to a long-barreled handgun combined with an extremely long buttstock. It can shoot powerful bullets in quick succession and seemingly without making any noise.

Banana Kavaro 
Banana is an Amateur Hunter and member of the former Kakin Empire Wildlife Exploration Team. He wears baggy style clothing and a fanny pack around her waist. He is a cordial person, who is also rather knowledgeable with extensive knowledge on the Chimera Ants' hierarchy system and behavior personalities.

Lin Koshi 
Lin is an Amateur Hunter and member of the former Wildlife Exploration Team who come to survey the Kakin Empire with Kite. And Kite has stated that Lin and his fellow Amateur Hunters in the team have excellent potential to be Pro-Hunters. He is a brainy individual that is candid in what he details and stutters the first word in every sentence he speaks.

Monta Yuras 
Monta, nicknamed Mon, is an Amateur Hunter and member of the former Wildlife Exploration Team surveying the Kakin Empire for new species with Kite. According to the latter, Monta has excellent potential to be a Pro-Hunter. He is a large man with a koala-like face and seems to be in charge of the luggage. Not much is known about Monta's personality as he typically always has a jovial look on his face.

Podungo Lapoy 
Podungo is an Amateur Hunter and member of the former Kakin Empire Wildlife Exploration Team, under Kite's direction. Kite states that Podungo and her fellow Amateur Hunters in the team have excellent potential to be Pro-Hunters. Podungo has dark skin and also the smallest member of the exploration group. Not much is known about Podungo's personality, but she is well versed in chemistry.

Spinner Clow 
Spinner, nicknamed Spin, is a young girl Amateur Hunter who aspires to become a Beast Hunter. She was part of the former Kakin Empire Wildlife Exploration Team lead by Kite. Spin is always seen carrying a camera. She aspires to be a Hunter so that she can pay back her debt to Kite, who lent her the money to buy an entire mountain in her hometown—a mining townhome to the Small-billed Swans, the sight of which she regards as one of her first and most important memories.

Stick Dinner 
Stick is an Amateur Hunter who is hired to survey the country of Kakin Empire with Kite. He comes from the same town as Spinner. Stick is in charge of dinner. According to Kite, he and his fellow Amateur Hunters in the former Kakin Empire Wildlife Exploration Team have excellent potential to be Pro-Hunters. Stick grew up with Spinner in a mining area where the Small-billed Swans lived. When it was designated to be a mining area, they started to protest.

Unit 9 is one of the police force in Active Raid anime. The members of this team are: Kyoukai Sama  As a mechanic and operator of Unit 9, he handles decisions.
