Nostrade Family Members & Employees In Hunter X Hunter

The Nostrade Family is a Mafia family formerly headed by Light Nostrade and currently headed by Kurapika. Here are the list of their members and employee:

Members

Light Nostrade 
Light Nostrade is the head of the Nostrade Family, a Mafia group under the leadership of the Ritz Family and is Kurapika's employer. He was originally just a minor provincial within the Ritz Family in the Mafia Community. However by using his daughter Neon's fortune-telling ability, he managed to surge his position in the Mafia Community.

Neon Nostrade 
Neon is the daughter of Light Nostrade of the Nostrade Family and a flesh collector. When her father was the head of a Mafia clan, Neon had authority over his employees and access to his wealth. Her reputation caused her and her father to be liked by the Ten Dons, although her influence on the Mafia probably ended with the loss of her powers.
  • Lovely Ghostwriter (Specialization): Neon predicts the future through quatrains that she writes down unconsciously. The summoned Lovely Ghostwriter manipulates Neon's arm to automatically write her poems. She cannot predict her own future.

Bodyguards

Kurapika 
Kurapika is the last survivor of the Kurta Clan. He is a Blacklist Hunter and the current leader of the organization founded by Light Nostrade. His goal is to avenge his clan and recover the remaining Scarlet Eyes. He has all the benefits granted by his status as a Hunter. Being Light Nostrade's right-hand man, he had power over the clan and is now the boss of Light's new organization.
  • Dowsing Chain: The Guiding Ring Finger (Conjuration): Shaped like a ball and chain, Kurapika uses this frequently under normal situations, for defensive and offensive purposes. It is also useful for investigative activities, like determining the location of missing individuals and identifying if someone is lying.
  • Chain Jail: The Restraining Middle Finger (Conjuration): Shaped like a hook, this very durable chain is designed to envelop and restrain Spiders. It forces its prisoners into a state of Zetsu, shutting off their aura and preventing the use of Nen abilities. Consequently, it is only possible to escape from it through brute force.
  • Emperor Time: Absolute Mastery (Specialization): When Kurapika's eyes shift into scarlet, he changes from a Conjurer to a Specialist. This ability allows him to utilize all the types of Nen to 100% efficiency. However, the price to pay is considerable, as every second spent in this mode shortens Kurapika's lifespan by one hour.
  • Holy Chain: Healing Thumb (Conjuration & Enhancement): Shaped like a cross, it cures wounds by drawing from Enhancement abilities. When Kurapika is in his Specialist state, it can heal serious injuries, such as a fractured arm, within seconds.
  • Judgment Chain: Arbiter Little Finger (Conjuration, Emission, and Manipulation): ​The Stake of Retribution enters the victim's body and wraps around their heart. Kurapika gives the victim an order, which, if violated, results in the Stake of Retribution piercing the victim's heart, killing them. Kurapika himself has a blade wrapped around his heart, which he used to set the Limitations for the use of Chain Jail ability. Judgment Chain can only be used in conjunction with Emperor Time.
  • Steal Chain: Thieving Index Finger (Conjuration): Shaped like a syringe, upon piercing the body of the target this chain drains their aura and steals one of their Nen abilities. While their aura is being drained, the target is forced into a state similar to Zetsu. The target is unable to use the stolen ability until it is returned to them.
  • Stealth Dolphin: Index Finger In Emperor Time (Specialization): By activating Emperor Time, Kurapika can summon a dolphin-like construct with a syringe that is visible and audible only to himself. This construct can equip and analyze the stolen ability, informing Kurapika of its name, functions, and basic conditions. Kurapika can then use the stolen ability for himself or loan it to another person, including non-users, by stabbing them with Steal Chain.

Former Stolen Abilities
  • Little Eye (Emission and Manipulation): The user launches an aura ball at a bug or any other small living being, capturing and gaining control over it. The largest creature the user can control is about the size of a hamster. The user gains knowledge of anything the manipulated animal sees or hears.
  • Air Blow (Unknown): Little is known about it. The original user attempted to activate it through his left palm in order to break the guard of a Nen user who was capable of stopping bullets with his aura. It does not seem to require direct contact with the target to work.
  • Erigeron (Enhancement): Kurapika transferred Bill's Nen to other individuals to awaken their Nen during the Water Divination ceremony. The ability dramatically accelerates the growth of a living being when the user brings the palms of their hands close to it.

Baise 
Baise was one of the bodyguards working for Neon Nostrade. She has some degree of skill and have a preference for fighting with her legs. She proved to be moderately fast and agile when she dodged all the attacks from enemies.
  • Instant Lover (Manipulation): Baise has the ability to manipulate for 180 minutes whomever she kisses. The target becomes overwhelmingly infatuated with her and will follow her every command.

Basho 
Basho is a Hunter from Jappon and one of the bodyguards working to protect Neon Nostrade. He has all the benefits granted by his status as a Hunter. He is agile and endowed with quick reactions. He can also acquit himself well in a melee fight. Basho also appears to have some degree of knowledge in pharmaceutical chemistry, coming up with the recipe for a legal drug that is more effective on heavy smokers and has no or negligible side effects.
  • Great Haiku (Unknown): Basho's ability activate when he writes a haiku on a strip of paper. According to him, whatever is written on it becomes real. However, its effect depends on the quality of the poem. Both times he displayed his power, Basho's compositions allowed him to summon flames, using a punch as the trigger on the first occasion and the act of lying on the second.

Dalzollene 
Dalzollene was the leader of Neon Nostrade's bodyguards and Kurapika's direct superior. As such, he had authority over his subordinates. He was very competent in his job and capable of enhancing his body with Nen, enduring ten bullets without being hurt.

Melody 
Melody is a Music Hunter and one of Neon Nostrade's bodyguards. Her life changed as the result of one night of drinking with a friend. Having listened to a single movement of the violin solo part of the Sonata of Darkness she was deformed. Subsequently, Melody gained supernatural hearing; she can hear things as quiet as heartbeats. Her goal is to find the sheet music for the sonata and get rid of it, so that none suffer the same fate.
  • Enchanting Music (Emission): By channeling her aura into her music, Melody can play songs with various effects. The ability can work on hundreds if not thousands of people at the same time, even if Melody's music is broadcast.

Linssen 
Linssen is a professional Hunter who also works under the employment of the Nostrade Family as one of Neon's bodyguards and after the death of Squala, becomes the most senior of the bodyguards. At some point during his life, he took the Hunter Exam and passed, becoming a licensed Hunter.

Ivlenkov 
Ivlenkov was one of Neon's bodyguards. He used to be a Nostrade Family's bodyguard and, as such, he must have been skilled enough to have passed a test for this job. He proved to be moderately fast and agile.

Shachmono Tocino 
Shachmono was a Hunter and one of Neon Nostrade's bodyguards. At one point during his life, Tocino passed the Hunter Exam and became a Hunter, as well as becoming a bodyguard in the Nostrade Family. He has all the benefits granted by his status as a Hunter.
  • Eleven Black Children (Emission and Manipulation): Tocino can control eleven doll-like soldiers by emitting his aura into balloons, expanding them into life-sized creations. They can follow only simple commands and their combat skills are low enough.

Squala 
Squala was a senior member of Neon Nostrade's bodyguards. He was an older member of Neon Nostrade's bodyguards. While not a Pro Hunter, he could utilize Nen. He was in a romantic relationship with Eliza, one of Neon's female attendants. Squala was less enthusiastic about his job than his peers are. A fearful man, he wished to leave the Mafia and live a simple life with Eliza.
  • Dog Manipulation (Manipulation): Squala can manipulate dogs. He takes complete care of them in exchange for their services. They can work as guard dogs, run errands, or go on spying missions. They can even partake in complex conversations, using their barks in a similar manner to Morse Code.

Servant

Eliza 
Eliza is one of Neon Nostrade's personal attendants. She was in a romantic relationship with Squala, a member of Neon's longtime bodyguards, until he was killed by the Phantom Troupe member, Nobunaga. Eliza is a very calm and patient person. Though she does become slightly agitated at Neon at times, Eliza does seem to sincerely care for her.

Unit 9 is one of the police force in Active Raid anime. The members of this team are: Kyoukai Sama  As a mechanic and operator of Unit 9, he handles decisions. In some cases, He also conducts on-site surveys. Like Kyoukai, they are dispatched from the association, but they do not seem to know each other's names.
