Hanamitsu Academy Characters In Prison School
Hachimitsu Academy is a private girls academy & fictional well-known strict girls high school that functions as the main setting of Prison School. The boarding school is located in Nerima Ward within Tokyo's metropolitan area, under the management of the Chairman with a student cohort of 1021 students. The school was constructed in 1961 as a high-ranking sports academy and boarding school for elite young women. The academy upholds traditional school rules on its campus. Here are the minor characters of it's school:
Chairman Kurihara He is the chairman at Hachimitsu Academy and father of Mari and Chiyo. He is wealthy but perverted. He often sympathizes with the boys. He is a self-proclaimed "ass-man", keeping various photos of female posteriors in his office, even looking at them while scheduling appointments with other characters. He, like the rest of the Kurihara family employs a strange philosophy to judge one's character. His philosophy is, "Anyone who likes butts isn't all bad".
Chiyo Kurihara Chiyo is Kiyoshi's classmate and watches sumo wrestling as a hobby. Kiyoshi has a crush on her, however it is not known whether she reciprocates this or not. She is Mari's sister and has deep respect for her. She, like the rest of the Kurihara family employs a strange philosophy to judge one's character. Her philosophy is, "Anyone who likes sumo wrestling isn't all bad". At the end of the series, she replaces Mari as the president of the Underground Student Council.
Anzu Yokoyama Anzu is a former spy for the Underground Student Council and Mitsuko's cousin. She has romantic feelings for Shingo, and is a year older than him.
Sato A student at Hachimitsu Academy and the love interest of Joe. She unwittingly stops Joe from returning to imprisonment. She is a member of the school's cooking club and only appears in the OVA.
Mayumi Tanaka Chiyo's best friend who is most often seen in her company, and aided her in warning the boys of their impending expulsion. She belongs to the same class as Chiyo Kurihara and Kiyoshi Fujino, and is a member of the school's Go Club.

The School Cleaner
He is one of the janitors working at Hachimitsu Academy. He is responsible for running the school's launderette attached to the girls' dorm, where the boarding students hand in their school uniform and other clothes for laundry. Amongst other roles, he delivers clothes from the cleaning room of the school to the main building. The cleaner is employed by a contractor and is not an employer of the school.
