The Navigators In Log Horizon
The Navigators are a group of beings created by an alien race. Their purpose is to search other universes for a resource called Empathion which powers the civilization of their creators and eventually harvest it from the worlds which they discover it. The Navigators are split into two main groups: Observers and Harvesters.
Roe2
Roe2 is an observer AI took the body of a secondary character used by Shiroe before the apocalypse. She is a level 90 Summoner half-Alv. Her sub-class is vampire, giving her special buffs at night but rendering her weak to exposure to direct sunlight. Roe2 has the appearance of a tall woman dressed in a white coat wearing glasses. She takes a liking to being called "big sis", and complains that her big brother (Shiroe) gave her an inconvenient subclass.
Heiglot
Heiglot is one of the Geniuses of the First Hour and the Genius of Snowstorms. She is also known as White Princess Heiglot. She has taken the appearance of a beautiful woman in a white kimono with blue eyes, long hair, and black wings. Heiglot has powers over ice, specializing in wide-area attacks, but has yet to master them. She aims to use her powers to cover the whole land with snow, ruining crops and harvests.
Mizkun
Mizkun is one of the Geniuses of the First Hour and the Genius of Shadows. He is sometimes referred to as Mizkun of Shadows. Mizkun takes the appearance of a human-shaped shadow. He specializes in providing logistical support and, thus, rarely comes out; he also has the power to brainwash demi-human Monsters. Currently, he is scheming to shut down the magic circuits guarding Adventurer Cities and overrun them with his brainwashed demi-human Monsters.
Rasphuia
Rasphuia is known as the Genius of Necromancy. She is one of the Genii of the First Hour. Up until her defeat and destruction, she was partnered with fellow Genius Papus. She is a blonde-haired girl who looks like a bisque doll wearing a Gothic dress. Although her looks and words are elegant, she hides behind them a cruel personality. She moves like an insect, using her sharp nails to climb up and down trees. Her ability allows her to have multiple Names, or souls, that take damage for her and almost instantly regenerate her when a body part is cut off.
Papus
Papus is referred to as Papus of Healing. Its name is derived from Papus the Physician, one of the Genii of the First Hour from the Nuctemeron. It is a mass of tentacles wearing a robe. Every word and laughter that Papus speaks are composed of a collection of popping sounds of bubbles that rise from the puddle. It is capable of controlling other monsters by its tentacles. It has a skill called Ningyo that spreads the Words of Death to Ancients and Earthlings, causing them to believe that they are nothing but personality software and purposeless puppets.
Zahun
Zahun is a Genius of the First Hour and the Genius of Scandals. He is a puffer fish with the ability to float. He is quite talkative and can imitate the voice of various age and both genders. He acts like a lecturer of shady workshop, agitating Orcs and spreading the false rumors in Akiba to make the Adventurers suspicious of each other. He was defeated by Nyanko-tei. However, it is revealed he just pretended to be dead. He now disguises himself as a Earthling lady, planning to wreck Akiba economically by pyramid schemes.
Baglis
Baglis was a level 85 Half-Raid-level monster and the Genius of Measures. Along with Camaysar, Sislau, and Zahun, it was one of the Genius that infiltrated Akiba after its Royal Guard system was deactivated. Baglis' disguise took the form of a middle-aged Earthling wearing an eye scope on his right eye. Its true form was a standing golden scale with a metallic eye at its center.
Sachluph
Sachluph is a Genius of the Second Hour and the Genius of Green Wings. He is jade-colored giant owl that can fly noiselessly and attacks with sharp talons. Although he gives the impression of a sage, outside of battle, he has a jovial personality and likes silly jokes. Sachluph has control over the growth of plants, and can fire plant seeds at a target, sprouting seeds in the body.
Eirenus
Eirenus is one of the Geniuses of the Third Hour and the Genius of Disappointment. Eirenus' ability lowers the levels of any Adventurer over level 65 down to level 35. However, it has no effect on anyone whose level is 65 or under, and has no effect on Adventurers who are using the Teacher System to lower their levels to 65 or under.
Mascarun
Mascarun, also known as Mascarun of the Blade, is a Genius of the Third Hour and the Genius of Death. He appears as an undead swordsman wielding a black katana. He has an ominous yellow aura that summons undead monsters. His prowess is in his swordplay, one of his greatest features being a continuous attack without any break. Furthermore, when someone looks into Mascarun's eyes, a scene of his/her death is displayed in his eyes.
Sislau
Sislau is one of the Geniuses of the Fourth Hour and the Genius of Pestilence. He appears as young fairy boy that is about 30 cm in height and has butterfly-like wings. Although he has a contemptuous attitude, he himself has not meant to be deliberately offensive.
Camaysar
Camaysar is the Genius of Marriage. He disguises as a local People of the Earth with blond hair. His true form appears as a snake like humanoid with long sharp talons and grey scaly skin. He has the ability to shape shift into a normal People of the Earth, he also has the ability to hypnotize anyone who stares directly into his eyes leaving them in somewhat trans like state.
Taliktan
Taliktan is a level 86, Raid-rank monster and the Genius of Summoning. It is the final boss of the Shibuya Raid. He appeared in Shibuya and set up a a base of operations there, summoning large hordes of Moonlight Moths and turning the entire city into a raid zone filled with high-leveled monsters. The moths spread around all over Yamato, putting both Earthlings and Adventurers into a deep sleep from which they were unable to awaken due to a continuous MP drain.
Susabo
Susabo is the Genius of Voyages and known as the Ocean Barrier. His ability prevents people from traveling between server territories by ocean, which is necessary in order for Kanami's Party to travel to Yamato, and for Rayneshia's party to reach China to assist Krusty.
Jazar
Jazar is one of the Geniuses of the Seventh Hour. In the Nuctemeron, Jazar is called the Genius who Compels Love. Its epithet in Theldesia is currently unknown. It is one of the Genii who have escaped the Prison of Time with Taliktan's help. Currently, it is residing in Indicus' right eye. Little is known about its true abilities right now. However, its official description says it controls mind trafficking.
Colopatiron
Colopatiron is one of the Geniuses of the Ninth Hour and the Genius that Opens Prisons, with dominion over amnesty. He released his brethren sealed in the Prison of Time and, with Taliktan's aid, dispatched some of them down to earth. Doing this, however, has caused him to enter a state of intermittent sleep.
Bucaphi
Bucaphi is one of the Geniuses of the Tenth Hour and the Genius of Witches. Bucaphi coincidentally met Krusty in the Prison of Time following Takayama Misa's weapon, Calamity Hurts, going awry. When he refused to become her servant, she placed a curse on him and sent him to the the Chinese server. Because her curse prevents him from leaving the Eured continent, Krusty plans on searching for her and killing her to remove it
Marnes
Marnes is one of the Geniuses of the Twelfth Hour and the Genius of Reincarnation who holds dominion over the Principles of the Soul. He is one of the few high-ranking Genii who is not under Bucaphi's authority.
Observers (Fools Faction)
The Observers are described as artificial intelligences which arrived in the universe containing the world of Elder Tales during an event which they call "Match". They do not possess bodies of their own and hence occupy the bodies of others while still possessing their host's memories. Their primary objective is to search for empathions. Their main base of operations is located on the Moon.Roe2
Harvesters (Genius Faction)
The Harvesters are described as creatures of slightly lesser intelligence than observers that were artificially created on the Moon using the bodies of monsters with powerful combat capabilities. Their primary objective is to harvest empathions in the form of magic points and will do so by attacking adventurers with extreme prejudice. They all possess the Genius title.Heiglot
