All Known Items In Log Horizon

Items in Elder Tale range from potions to equipment to ingredients, and are obtained from shops, monsters, quests, or raids. There are various item ranks in the game, which determines its abilities, rarity, and stats. Here is the ranks of items in Elder Tale:

  • Normal: Normal items are commonly sold in shops. They have the relatively lowest stats for their levels and have no magical effects. That said, they're the cheapest option for Adventurers who use consumable items, such as arrows.
  • Magic-class: Magic-class items are items with a special prefix or suffix attached to it. These items can have up to 2 abilities on them. It is possible to purchase these from People of the Earth who deal in magical goods, and they have a high chance of dropping from dungeon treasure chests as well.
  • Production-class: Production-class items are crafted by Adventurers using different materials. Items of this rank can hold 3–5 abilities if a high-quality Normal item was used as a base. Items crafted by high-level players are considered luxury goods.
  • Secret-class: The powerful Secret-class items are obtained through dungeons, monster drops, or quests. Naturally, joining a party is required to obtain these items. Secret-class items have a high chance of having the lock system, so once an owner is decided, it gets bound to the player and nobody else can use it anymore.
  • Fantasy-class: Fantasy-class items were the rarest grade of items in the game era. Only a limited amount of these items exist per server. Fantasy-class equipment can only be acquired through raids, or forged from phantasmal material obtained through raids. The item is locked onto the player and cannot be traded.
  • Sacrament-class: Sacrament-class is a completely new rank level that did not exist before the Catastrophe. It is unknown what these items do, and the only person known to have such an item is Roe2.

The effects of the potion only last for two hours but are a tremendous help to new players.

A Fire Bomb Potion is an item in Elder Tale. The potion contains fire that will explode upon contact when thrown at someone. Each individual potion can only deal 500 damage, but it is possible to create traps containing many potions that could potentially kill even a level 90 Adventurer when set off.

Horse
A Horse is large animal that is mainly used for transportation and travel within the world of Elder Tale. There are two types of Horses: Summoned Horses and Earthling Horses. A Summoned Horse is summoned by an Adventurer using summoning Magic and requires no need for food or water. A Earthling Horse is a horse type just like their real world counterparts, and are mainly used by the People of the Earth. They cannot be summoned, are bred, and require food and water to sustain themselves.

Curry Recipe
Nyanta's Curry Recipe is a favorite with Shiroe and the other members of the Log Horizon Guild. Nyanta's curry seems to be made like any other curry dish with a mixture of meat, vegetables and sauce, served with rice.

Ocypete
The Ocypete is the first of a new type of vessel in Elder Tale, one that is powered by steam instead of sail or oars. The vessel seems to be modeled after the old steamboats and paddleboats of the mid-to-late 1800's. Generally speaking, the ship is not meant for combat purposes, but it is heavily armored for protection and its main defense is in the form of its Adventurer crew and passengers.

Panacea
Panacea is a potion found in Elder Tale. When drank, it cures all the negative status of the drinker. Apparently, it can also cure hangovers, even though it hadn't been possible to get drunk prior to the Catastrophe.

After three minutes are up, Adventurers affected by this item will die and resurrect at the Cathedral. Because of this, it is not considered a resurrection item.

The Eagle
The Eagle is a type of magical transport ship known as a Spirit Ship or Fairy Ship. Like the Ocypete, the Eagle is a ship that does not rely on normal oars or sails to move across the waves. However, unlike the Adventurers' ship, this is a totally magical vessel with no engine to propel it. Apparently it uses mystic sails to efficiently capture winds and move it forward at high speeds. It seems to be modeled after a large trimaran. It boasts a large cargo hold, said to be able to carry up to 500 tons with climate control.

Steam Engine
The steam engine was a concept made real by the three largest of the Production Guilds. The concept was then applied toward engineering with the steam-engine as the first successful result. The first prototype had several flaws but proved that the idea was feasible. One interesting thing to note is that the water is heated not by wood or coal, but by the power of a fire-type beast, making the engine a form of magical technology.
