According to an old legend, when the end of the world comes, a place known as Paradise will appear. However, only wolves will know how to find it. Although wolves are believed to have been hunted to extinction nearly two hundred years ago, they still exist, surviving by casting illusions over themselves to make them appear human. In this series, 5 wolves taking their journey to find the paradise are known as:
Kiba Kiba is destined to find the Lunar Flower and open the way to Paradise. He becomes a leader for the pack during their journey, always believing in a way to reach their destination. He always believes in Paradise.
Hige Hige is a light-brown Mexican wolf with a carefree attitude. He is quite comfortable with living disguised as a human instead of revealing himself to be a wolf. After meeting Kiba, he goes along with the idea of searching for Paradise without much of an argument, though he doesn't show the same passion for it as Kiba.
Tsume Tsume is a strong fighter who keeps his true feelings to himself. He only joins the others out of boredom and does not believe Paradise to exist. Though he frequently quarrels with Kiba over the course of their journey, he eventually comes to believe in Paradise as strongly as Kiba does.
Toboe Toboe is a Red wolf and the youngest member of the group. He appears to be around 14 in human years, often acting more like a wolf pup than a fully-grown wolf. He is usually the kindest of the pack, but can act aggressive when he and his friends are attacked.
Blue Blue is a dark blue wolfdog who hunts down other wolves. She lived her life as a pet dog, unaware of her heritage. However, upon meeting Cheza, her wolf blood awakened and she is unable to continue hunting down members of her own kind, and chooses to join Kiba's pack in the search for Paradise instead.
Bonus Character:
Cheza Cheza is not a wolf. She was created from the Lunar Flower by Lord Darcia I. After she has awakened, she escapes and help guide the wolves to Paradise.
