15 Countries In Magi: The Labyrinth Of Magic

There are many countries in the world of Magi. Each country has unique and strong individuals who contribute to their own country. To know better about the plot of this anime, it is recommended to get brief information of all involved countries. The list is presented as follow:

Reim Empire 

The Reim Empire is the world's largest nation protected by the Great Priestess Scheherazade, who was one of the four Magi of the current era. After Scheherazade's death, she was replaced by Titus Alexius as the empire's new Magi. The empire is the most powerful and longest leading superpower in terms of military, technology, and economy in the world. As one of the world's superpowers, the military of the Reim Empire arguably is the strongest and largest in the world with Ignatius Alexius acted as the Supreme Commander of the army. Besides, the Reim Empire has an army consisting only of Fanalis, called the Fanalis Corps led by Muu Alexius. It also possess a powerful naval fleet for transporting troops.

Kou Empire 

The Kou Empire is a large military nation, considered one of the most powerful in the current era because of the number of Dungeon Capturers and armies it controls. Their High Priest is Judar, one of the five Magi of the current era. They also possessed a powerful naval fleet and flying carpets for transporting troops. Magicians are also employed within their ranks and are stationed in various locations, which they transmit communication through long-range Clairvoyance Magic. However, this was a highly classified secret.

Parthevia

Parthevia was a small country in southwest that was fighting to break free from a continent near by. During the reign of Davashadil IV, Parthevia won the war and renamed itself to be the Parthevia Empire, becoming a strong and influential superpower country. The Parthevia Empire then became prosperous after conquering other countries. But after the war with the Reim Empire, Parthevia fell into economic difficulties and imposed harsh taxes on the people.

Sindria Kingdom 

Sindria Kingdom is a country established and formerly ruled by King Sinbad. It is also a part and leading country of the Seven Seas Alliance and now currently located at an island in the southern sea. After Sinbad abdication, it is currently ruled by Drakon. The Sindria Eight Generals retire after some of them have to take over their parents' spot as rulers of their respective countries due to their parents taking up roles in the International Alliance.

Magnostadt
Magnostadt, formerly the Musta'sim Kingdom, is known as the Magician's Country. Its capital, Academy City, is a huge city which is surrounded by a huge circular wall. Magnostadt's territories are seen to be surrounded and protected by three strong magical barriers with the Academy City being in the center, the barriers being controlled by Matal Mogamett and his subordinates.

Balbadd Republic
Balbadd Republic, formerly the Balbadd Kingdom, is the home country of Alibaba Saluja. It was called by Sinbad as a Great Oceanic Nation before its decline. Three years have passed since Balbadd gained its independence. Subsequently, they chose the citizens who are going to represent their country and made a parliament according to Barkak.

Kouga Empire
The Kouga Clan is a horse raiding clan situated in a rural area of the Northern Tenzan Plateau. It is said that the Kouga Clan was previously known as the Great Kouga Empire, which was built by Chagan Khan. They were once the strongest nation in the world. They were just like the Kou Empire with the ambition to unite the whole world under their name, but they failed and shrunk to being just a clan. As a clan, they were annexed by the Kou Empire.

Sasan Kingdom
Sasan Kingdom is a small and landlocked religious country surrounded by mountains on all sides. It is ruled by the Knight King Darius Leoxses and part of the Seven Seas Alliance. The country produced a vast natural resources of iron, gold, silver and other metals from the surrounding mountains, and it is noted for having the world's highest quality. Because of its difficult terrain, the country itself can only be reached by foot. The Sasan Kingdom has an army of knights, equipped with heavy armor and weapons.

Kina Kingdom
The Kina Kingdom is an infamous, small island located further east of the Kou Empire. It is ruled by King Takeruhiko Yamato. Since the ancient times, Kina paid tributes to the three great countries of the Far East: Kou, Gou, and Kai. It stopped any diplomatic relations with other countries once the King of Kina took over. As the Kina Kingdom is very small, it was able to erase itself from the surface of the sea with the special power they obtained. It has become a flying island.

Imuchakk
Imuchakk is a country and federation of five clans situated in the northern lands, also known as the Unexplored Region of the Extreme North. As the hierarchy system of the Imuchakk Tribe, the National Chief is a ruler or head of state while coordinating the five chiefs that rule their respective clans, and the Patriarchs are heads of the villages. It is now part of the Seven Seas Alliance which was ruled by National Chief Rametoto, but is currently being ruled by Hinahoho.

Heliohapt Kingdom
Heliohapt Kingdom is a small country situated in the north of the Dark Continent, ruled by King Sharrkan. It is the homeland of Sharrkan and Sphintus Carmen and part of the Seven Seas Alliance. In the past, the royalty of this country had a dispute of who would take over the throne after the king passed away, Armakan or Sharrkan. As result, they split into two factions.

Artemyra
Artemyra is a small country with a similar size as Sasan Kingdom and part of the Seven Seas Alliance. The country is located in the world's largest ravine and the middle of the Unexplored Region. Similar to Sasan Kingdom, the country was surrounded with difficult terrains, it can only be reached by foot by travelers. But for the Artemyra people, they can travel within the country or outside world via giant birds. It was ruled by Queen Mira Dianus Artemina and currently Pisti.

Aktia Kingdom
The Aktia Kingdom is a small coastal country. Aktia's port is an important point of contact between the Eastern and Western Continents in terms of trade. Aktia Kingdom also has a powerful navy.

Alma Torran
Alma Torran was once a world with several independent and intelligent species. Each established their own prosperous society, however as their population increased, and they expanded their borders, the vast majority of species started fighting each other for supremacy, some even joined forces. The stronger species began destroying the weaker species, the latter becoming a food source for the stronger species, and the weakest species of all was the humans.

Dark Continent
The Dark Continent is a slice of Alma Torran connected to the new world Solomon created. There are two sides to it. A vast land resembles Africa with its flora and fauna, housing small villages of humans and Torran people. The other side is much more larger, possibly even rivaling large empires such as Reim's or even combined with other countries. It is believed continent from where the Fanalis originated. It contains provinces of the Reim Empire, such as Cathargo, the reputed home of Fanalis, and Maurenia.
