The Eight Immortals In Jacky Chan Adventure

The Immortals are eight warriors from Chinese legend. In the series, they banished the eight Demon Sorcerers to the Netherworld and locked their portals with the Pan'ku Box. The Immortals were masters of good chi magic and formidable martial artists as well. Furthermore, the common items that represent their symbols are capable of banishing the each of the Demon Sorcerers back to the Netherworld. The brief description of each member can be seen below:

Lan Caihe 
The Immortal Lan Caihe, patron of minstrels. His symbol is a sword. He is the Immortal who banished Shendu to the Netherworld.

He Xiangu 
The Immortal He Xiangu, the only female amongst the Immortals. Her symbol is a dizi, a Chinese flute. She is the Immortal who banished Hsi Wu to the Netherworld.

Cao Guojiu 
The Immortal Cao Guojiu, patron of acting and theater. His symbol is a gourd. He is the Immortal who banished Bai Tza to the Netherworld.

Li Tieguai 
The Immortal Li Tieguai, patron of acting and theater. His symbol is the castanets. He is the Immortal who banished Tchang Zu to the Netherworld.

Lu Dongbin 
The Immortal Lu Dongbin, patron of scholars. His symbol is a fan. He is the Immortal who banished Xiao Fung to the Netherworld.

Han Xiangzi 
The Immortal Han Xiangzi, patron of flutists. His symbol is a lotus pod. He is the Immortal who banished Tso Lan to the Netherworld.

Zhang Guo Lao 
The Immortal Zhang Guo Lao, the hermit alchemist. His symbol is a Yu Ku, a fish drum made of bamboo. He is the Immortal who banished Po Kong to the Netherworld.

Zhongli Quan 
The Immortal Zhongli Quan, the general. His symbol is a bamboo basket full of flowers. He is the Immortal who banished Dai Gui to the Netherworld.

Unit 9 In Active Raid

Unit 9 is one of the police force in Active Raid anime. The members of this team are: Kyoukai Sama  As a mechanic and operator of Unit 9, he handles decisions. In some cases, He also conducts on-site surveys. Like Kyoukai, they are dispatched from the association, but they do not seem to know each other's names. He is also in charge of narration for Unit 9 commercials. He also uses the pseudonym " Owashi Joe ". Asami Kazari A new member in Unit 8, she was assigned to monitor Unit 8 due to their bad reputation, and possibly to take steps in improving their activities. Like Sena, she is serious and prefers to stick to the law. She operates the Oscar VI Fine Familia. After the Logos incident she becomes the leader of the new Unit 9, and her reputation becomes even worse than Unit 8's. She usually utters English phrases in their conversations. Unit 8 is a police unit that is authorized to use Will Wears and the ACTIVE system. Due to their collateral damage of city infrastructure, Unit 8 has a bad reputation within the police force and public media. While the Japanese title of the anime only refers to them as "Public Mobile Assault Unit Eight", official materials translate their title as "Special Public Security Fifth Division Third Mobile Assault Eighth Unit." The members are: Takeru Kuroki A Lieutenant and one of Unit 8's Willwearers, he operates the Oscar 2 Strike Interceptor.
