7 Unique Features In Jacky Chan Adventures

I am not a fan of Jacky Chan. I do not really follow his movies. The only thing I know is that he stars a lot of action movies and widely known around the world. When it comes to his animation series, I watched it without expecting more than just fighting scenes. Obviously it met my prediction with the slight difference that I notice about Jacky's appearance who looked a bit younger with his short haircut. However, I found numerous features in the series which are really entertained me. I guess those are what makes the show worth to be watched. Here they are:

12 Talismans of Shendu
12 Talismans of Shendu appeared since the beginning of the series. Those contain unique powers owned by one of demon Sorcerer, Fire Demon Shendu. Jacky and his group tried to collect all Talismans before the evil group known as Enforcers take them in order to resurrect the fire demon. I consider the Talismans clearly attract many audience to watch this show as they are curious regarding the power these stones possess.

J-Team
J-Team, the team assembled by Jade, is the main characters in the series. They fought in many battles and encountered the final boss of each season. Fans of Jacky Chan may not miss the moments where he always throws the gags in every desperate situations. Initially I think it only shows jacky's adventures by himself before the introduction of this team in the beginning of season 2.

The Dark Hand
International syndicate known as the Dark Hand plays an important role as the villain in the first season. Led by Valmont, It employs the enforcers to retrieve the talismans from jacky chan's team. However, it turned out that the Enforcers are more of a nuisance than an actual threat. They are not really strong enough but always appear in every season.

Nine Demon Sorcerers
Nine Demon Sorcerers, who are related each other, have appeared in the show. They were villains who have desire to conquer and rule the world. Actually, they are consist of Shendu and his seven siblings who are trapped in the Netherworld. The main task for Shendu is to release them back to the world. Unfortunately, It did not happen as they expected and at the end of the season 5, their power are transferred to Drago, Shendu's son. He tried to populate the earth with demons, but ended in failure after being defeated by J-Team and Shendu assistance.

The Immortals
The Immortals are eight warriors who deserves the credits for banishing the eight Demon Sorcerers to the Netherworld and locked their portals with the Pan'ku Box. They are considered the strongest team in the past since they only used a little effort to defeat the Demon Sorcerers, of course with the help of their magical weapons and items they possess.

The Noble Animals
In my opinion, the episodes showing the Noble Animals are one of the best in the series, after the talismans episodes. The Noble Animals were actually descendants of the original twelve animals who held the powers stored in the Talismans of Shendu. It was very fun to see animals who possess super power and act on their own. As each talisman grants its power to the identical animals with its symbol, the Dragon talisman grants its power to Shendu by default since he was considered the last dragon on Earth.

Oni Masks
The last feature is Oni Masks. They originate from Japan and were created by ancient wizards to seal the Oni Generals within them. Oni Masks can each summon a different tribe of Shadowkhan once the mask is attached to a host's face, but if all nine Masks are brought together in one location, the Oni spirits are set free, summoning enough Shadowkhan to engulf the Earth in eternal darkness. What an unique feature, isn't it?
