The Zoldyck Family In Hunter X Hunter

The Zoldyck Family is considered to be the deadliest and most infamous group of assassins in the world. They owns and lives at the Kukuroo Mountain and their estate is surrounded by huge stone walls guarded by a giant hunting beast named Mike and attendants highly skilled in martial arts.

Maha Zoldyck 

Maha is the oldest living member of the Zoldyck Family and Zeno's grandfather. According to Zeno, Maha was incredibly powerful in his youth, to the point that Isaac Netero, once considered the strongest Nen user in the world, received praise for likely stalemating him in a fight. Netero was actually the only person that far to challenge Maha and live to tell the tale.

Zeno Zoldyck 

Zeno is a professional assassin and an extremely skilled Nen practitioner. He is the father of Silva Zoldyck and grandfather of Killua Zoldyck. He wears alternating signs on his garb that say either "A Kill A Day" or "Never Retire". He is an extremely skilled Nen user, undoubtedly one of the finest to have been introduced so far.

• Aura Blast (Emission): Zeno can fire a blast of aura from his open palm powerful enough to knock back and lightly injure Chrollo Lucilfer while also breaking the ground under his feet.
• Dragon Head (Transmutation): Zeno can transmute his aura into a tangible extension of the body in the form of a dragon, which he then hurls at the opponent as a straight shot. This ability is often used in conjunction with Emission, allowing Zeno to shoot the dragon as a projectile or use it as a means of transportation.
• Dragon Lance (Transmutation): This ability allows Zeno to control the dragon created with Dragon Head through precise motions of his hands, without emitting it. Due to its power and flexibility, it is perfect to attack while keeping the opponent at a safe distance.
• Dragon Dive (Emission and Transmutation): After getting above his target and using Dragon Head, Zeno shatters it in hundreds of smaller aura dragons that rain down from the sky. This technique can cover a vast area.

Silva Zoldyck 

Silva is the current head of the Zoldyck Family and the father of Killua. Being a world-renowned assassin and head of the infamous Zoldyck Family, Silva is an extremely skilled Nen user and unarmed combatant. He is also one of the best killers in the world. According to Killua, he can tear out the heart of a person without dropping a single blood drop.

• Explosive Orbs (Emission and Transmutation): Silva can create two huge spheres out of his aura, one in each hand, which he then hurls at the target. Upon impact, the orbs cause a massive explosion that can devastate the floor of a building. They were said to be able to kill two Nen masters like Zeno and Chrollo with a direct hit.

Kikyo Zoldyck 

Kikyo is the mother of the Zoldyck siblings and the wife of Silva Zoldyck. Her face is covered in bandages due to Killua's attack, though she later removes the bandages. She has an electronic visor covering her eyes that can be used as a communication device. Due to Kikyo being born in Meteor City, her existence is not recorded in any database, which makes obtaining information about her nearly impossible. As an assassin from the Zoldyck Family, Kikyo probably possesses advanced assassination techniques.

Illumi Zoldyck 

Illumi is the eldest child of Silva and Kikyo Zoldyck. During the 287th Hunter Exam, he appeared under the guise of Gittarackur. At Hisoka's request, Illumi joins the Phantom Troupe as Uvogin's replacement, becoming Troupe member #11. He has all the benefits granted by his status as a Hunter. Furthermore, as a member of the Zoldyck Family, he has vast wealth and capable underlings at his disposal. Thanks to his training, he possesses rare abilities such as strong resistance to poison, high tolerance to electricity, great agility and physical strength, and advanced armed and unarmed combat techniques.

• Body Alteration (Manipulation): Illumi uses large needles mainly to alter the shape of his own body and skin color. Removing the needles will cause him to revert to his original appearance. He can use this ability to infiltrate into places where his targets may reside.
• Hypnotic Spell (Manipulation): By placing a needle into the target's brain, Illumi is able to condition them into following pre-set orders as long as the needle remains embedded.
• Corpse Control (Manipulation): By piercing their head with several needles, Illumi can manipulate one or more deceased individuals. The victims can perform complex actions, such as speaking and driving. They have no will or reflexes of their own, and can be made to take suicidal actions.
• Needle People (Manipulation): Illumi sticks a special needle imbued with a large amount of aura into the skull of a person and gives an order. The target of the ability loses all sentience and follows his order until they die trying or from overexertion.

Milluki Zoldyck 

Milluki is the second eldest child of Silva and Kikyo Zoldyck. He is an otaku, who has not left the Zoldyck Family estate since the age of 10. Unlike his other siblings, Milluki spends the majority of his time in his bedroom playing with his computers. He takes great pride in his manga, anime, video games, and figurine collection. He lacks physical strength but makes up for it with his brainpower since he is the only tech-savvy member in the family and the bridge between them and conventional technology. Milluki is also known to be a genius at programming and hacking.

Killua Zoldyck 

Killua is the third child of Silva and Kikyo Zoldyck and the heir of the Zoldyck Family, until he runs away from home and becomes a Rookie Hunter. As a member of the Zoldyck Family, he has vast wealth at his disposal. He has been trained since birth to become a human weapon and is recognized by his family to be the most talented assassin in the entire history of the Zoldycks. He developed a series of Nen abilities in which he alters the properties of his aura to make it similar to electricity.

• Assassin Mode: Killua can enter a state of heightened concentration in which he focuses fully on killing the enemy, preventing himself from hesitating.
• The Snake Awakens: Killua whips his arms with incredible fluidity and speed, cleaving anything that comes in contact with them.
• Rhythm Echo: An assassination art and an advanced application of the Silent Gaits technique, Rhythm Echo is a motion that creates multiple afterimages of the practitioner's body through a varying cadence of steps to confuse the opponent or create decoys.
• Lightning Palm (Transmutation): The first ability Killua named, as well as the most basic one in his arsenal, consists in him electrocuting his opponent by touching them with both palms and pushing them back.
• Thunderbolt (Transmutation): Killua leaps into the air above the opponent and projects a bolt of lightning from his fingers, paralyzing them for a few moments and causing them pain.
• Whirlwind (Transmutation): The first core function of Godspeed has Killua react automatically to external stimuli. Killua programs his aura to send an electric signal to his muscles so as to instantly react to a threat. Concretely, this results in a drastic boost to Killua's reaction time, which has both offensive and defensive uses.
• Speed of Lightning (Transmutation): The second application of Godspeed allows Killua to retain conscious control of his movements. His running speed and jumping ability increase dramatically. He uses it primarily to cover long distances in a very short amount of time. On unfavorable terrain, Killua's speed with Speed of Lightning is approximately 240km/h.

Alluka Zoldyck 

Alluka is the second youngest child of Silva and Kikyo Zoldyck. Under unknown circumstances, she was possessed by a mysterious Dark Continent creature, which her family named Nanika. The two currently share Alluka's body. Unlike her brothers, Alluka has no combat abilities at all.

• Nanika: it is a mysterious Dark Continent creature who came to possess Alluka Zoldyck under unknown circumstances. The two currently coexist inside Alluka's body.
• Wish Granting: After a person fulfills three of Alluka's requests, Nanika will assume control over Alluka’s body and grant one wish. The degree of wish that Nanika can grant is probably infinite, going from briefly levitating a person into the air to altering probability and reality to make any effect occur.

Kalluto Zoldyck 

Kalluto is the youngest child of Silva and Kikyo Zoldyck. He is member #4 of the Phantom Troupe, replacing Hisoka. His most commonly seen attire is a dark kimono (furisode), accompanied with a yellow obi tied around his waist, and zori, a pair of Japanese sandals.

• Surveillance Paper Dolls (Manipulation): By attaching a piece of confetti to a person's body and creating a paper doll of that person, Kalluto is able to hear anything being said within the vicinity of that person, thus allowing him to gain precious information without being detected.
• Dance of the Serpent's Bite (Manipulation): Kalluto waves his fan through the air and throw a certain amount of paper confetti at his opponent from multiple angles. It then pierces into the body part where the confetti had previously stuck.
