7 School Memories In Assassination Classroom
The series of Assassination Classroom follows the daily lives of an extremely powerful creature working as a junior high homeroom teacher, and his students dedicated to the task of assassinating him to prevent Earth from being destroyed. These students are considered misfits in their school and are taught in a separate building. Due to the similarities of education system between this anime and education culture, it somehow reminds the audience of their school life in the past. Here are 7 school memories that will be remembered by watching this anime:
The Best Teacher
Korosensei always inspires his students apart from avoiding every assassination attempt by the class. He teaches them valuable life lessons and give the individual students the confidence in themselves despite being placed in the discriminatory Class 3-E. The students still have to plan for their future in life regardless of who claims the ten billion yen bounty. It is similar with our life where our considered best teacher always motivates the students in addition of the lesson he teaches. Whether you passed the school or still taking the educational school, you might be encounter this kind of teacher in your life.
Students' Types
There are different types of students in this anime, which is pretty similar with our school life. You can find Karma, the lazy student, the pervert okajima, the womanizer maehara, and the delinquent student, terasaka. Not to mention the students with special interests such as yukiko the expert of arcade game, Sugino who loves baseball, Kirara with her horror novel, and Itona, the gadget specialist. These personalities practically can be found in your classmates or probably just the figure of yourself in the past.

The Best School
Kunugigaoka Junior High in this series is a prestigious private school located in Tokyo, Japan. It is renowned for being one of the top schools in all of Tokyo and has a high rate of successful students. It also has a high school that the students of Classes A-D enroll to through an escalator system and students from other schools enter through a transfer student exam. I believe some of you are considering the best school when continuing to study, or even your parents choose it for you beforehand. The favorite school situation in the real life is nothing different with the fictitious one in this anime.

The Worst Class
Class 3-E is the lowest class of Kunugigaoka Junior High School. It is nicknamed the "E-as-in-End Class" and consists of students who either failed to keep their grades up such as Yukiko Kanzaki and Nagisa Shiota or were punished for breaking school regulations as of the case of Yuma Isogai and Karma Akabane. In the real life, the system goes the same way. The last class is usually set for the students with the lowest scores. They can move to the higher class after the semester ends with the note that their scores pass the requirements of the school. The only different thing is that the system in the series is extremely insane.

Roll Call
It can be noticed that Korosensei usually do the roll call of the class. Roll call is the process of calling out a list of names to establish who is present. It is considered important as it gives the way to understand students better. You must be familiar with this when you attend the school and the teacher starts calling out your name. What a nostalgic feeling! And as for this series, the heart breaking moment is when Korosensei is about to be killed. He tells his students that he left them each a book of advice as a farewell gift and that he would announce one last roll call. As he calls out the list of names, he reminisces on how he is proud of his students who gave meaning to his life.
Code Names
In one of Assassination Classroom episodes, a student comes up with the idea to call each other with code names they are given for the day. Each person writes down potential code names for everyone else which then will be drawn from a lottery box. Their teacher immediately bans everybody from using their real names for the day. It is indeed a creative way to have fun with your friends, but somehow it is misused in my case. I remember how the students in my class mocked others by yelling out their parents' names. It is a bad habit in one country in southeast asia once you know the parents' names of your friends, you can call them in public in order to mock them.
Subjects & Clubs
The anime also introduces characters who has strength and specialty in different subjects. Those become the evaluation in determining their next class. The real life schools actually use the same method to rank the students. They normally asses the students based on their mark in five core subjects, usually consist of Math, English, Science, Social Studies, and Native Language which is shown as Japanese in this anime. Students are also free to choose their clubs in accordance of their interest. Japanese anime always has a wide range of clubs while as I remembered, the school clubs in my country only offer some and those are not well-provided.
